Two years is a long time in football.

Also, 80 catches 1,247 yards, and 11 TDs.

That's Drew Bennetts stat line from his best season. The point of that being, Quick may have been off to a great year, but one great year does not make a great reciever.
Nor did I say that. This is Quick or Marquez...how great is Marquez???

So you think what Quick did 3 years ago in less than half a season is why he should be on the roster?

Also comparing their 2015 stats? Really? Comparing a rookie against a 4th year pro? and that 4th year pro had 14 yards more only?

I dont know if your post was sarcasm or not. lol.
Is your post sarcasm? You do realize this is about two guys of which neither had over 15 catches last year?

I'd keep Quick...thanks for the equal entertainment...(y)

I get the feeling it'll be Quick personally, but it's hard to say. We need more tall guys playing, which tells me either Quick or McRoberts, but Quick is faster, better arm length... I think it was between Marquez or Thomas and Thomas made the roster.

No my post wasnt, and you know it. I was honestly asking cause I couldnt tell.. You choose a guy who basically had the same production in year 4 as a rookie did. I choose the guy who might become more, you choose the guy who hasnt.

No. I choose a guy of which to this point your guy is no better production wise.

Indeed I did turn your post around, because based on the facts...it could equally be seen as sarcasm. I'm mean Marquez simply is in no better spot than Quick...why do you think it's taking so long to decide?

I simply would take Quick over Marquez. You disagree...and that too is fine. The decision is coming.

He contributes about the same on offense as quick, but he can play special teams too. I give him the 1 up because of that.

Yeah but can he pop gurley open for 10+ more yards?

Well...I'll take the guy with experience, size, and who can block also. Basically Marquez is out because I would take Cunningham and Thomas on STs over Marquez returning the ball..

Yes it could have been seen as sarcasm, just like I thought yours was., i can see that, but since neither of us were, just came down to interpretation on the internet, which is always nearly impossible lol. Neither of our faults, just hard to get our intentions across with words only.

At this point Quick and Marquez are the same as you say too, but the difference(at least for me) is that Quick has been in the league 4 years, and Marquez 1.You like Quick more, I really dont care who replaces him as long as its someone else, I am just done with Quick and Marquez seems like a logical choice.

Whichever they choose, we will support I know that. And hopefully they will be productive!

You had to figure he'd be amongst the first announced so they could get the filming out of the way....
Now that HK stars Hill, Seau and Kush are gone, lets get down to business.
I'm hoping the next Hard Knocks cut was the passenger in the dumb and dumber crew...
Down goes another one I Liked!:(I liked his Tank Top Collection! And he has a Cute Kid!!

But Marquez isn't really a replacement for Quick... McRoberts would be more of a replacement (similar size and all that).... McRoberts is also raw, but he could develop faster (I mean it's hard to be slower)... The problem though is that right now Quick is faster, has more physical positives, and is a better run blocker.

Yeah a team or two is going to get a very nice young d-lineman off of our waiver wire. We've got a lot of potential good young guys and only a couple spots to fight for. I'm sure any team with d-line needs is watching our waiver wire by the minute. Seau has the skill to be a pass rusher in this league but obviously needs some time to polish a complete game.
He wasnt even close. No contain at all and that was his main job.

Yes, but can he catch worth a damn? I agree I'd like McRoberts over Marquez. What upside does Quick have? 4 years and still playing like a udfa rookie trying to make the team with his blocking ability only...

What I really liked about Hemingway was is the way he runs very smooth & has some speed. I saw his drops too but I see something here with him. 4th rd draft selection rookie Tyler Higbee has not anything since his first game or for that matter done that much better IMO. I say that if they keep Hemingway its going to be fun watching him develop.
Higbee is an outstanding blocker.Quick as well.

He played well . Kush asking Goff what happened after he was sacked.Totally hilarious

I know! And Goff answered, "I got sacked." Hilarious stuff indeed.
