Let's not forget, that the Rams have literally never beaten Eli Manning.

In fact, only one game has ever been close, and that was last year's London game. I'm definitely not sleeping on the Giants.
And I guarantee Sean McVay is reminding his team of that too. Personally I think we beat the brakes of the Giants.

I'd be very happy if that's how it all pans out. It seems optimistic to me because it assumes that we don't drop a game against a team that we arguably should beat (Tennessee, Seattle, Houston, Minnesota). However, it also assumes that we don't pull off an upset over NO or Philly. So I can't complain.

Personally, I'm just hoping for 10-6. It won't be easy, but it's possible. For now, let's just use the bye to regroup and make sure we get a W in New York.

Being as realistic as I could be I came up with 10-6 too. 5-4 gets us there. I have us coming out of the next 4 at 2-2. Vikings, Saints and Texans is rough. We should beat NY, but need to win at least one of the Vikings, Saints and Texans games. 3-2 down the stretch seems very realistic.

All that being said, winning 11 or 12 games is very possible and we have so much room to get better!

We have a stretch of some playoff caliber teams and I think a couple of them will get us. I see us getting a 10-6 or 11-5 record if we stay healthy and continue to improve.

I feel like we can beat anybody any given Sunday, but as a Rams fan... I'm not going to get too ahead of myself. I'm optimistic and believe, but 4-12 last year, and coming back the next year with 10+ wins and playoffs? I would have never imagined that happening.

Any chance we get flexed into Sunday night football? I’m thinking the Philly or Seattle game.

Well, I am not going to sleep on the Giants game. They also have a bye this week, and are getting Sterling Shepperd back. I look for them to pick up a WR and work them in as well. Engram is legit and with a 2nd weapon (Shepperd) the Giants offense isnt as impotent as it was yesterday. We know firs hand that a top defense can start season slow but turn it on when it needs to.
Only 2 lock games IMO are the 49ers and Cardinals
Giants can't run. This is the type of game the Rams can take a weakness and make it hurt worse. I see us frustrating them with our defense. Eli may hit a few decent Eli type plays but not enough to establish anything consistent.

Only way we lose to the Giants is if there is some weird wave of desperation on their part.

I think that's fair, except I don't think beating NO at home is an upset.

Unless we have a stretch where we struggle, I think at the very least we earn a wild card.

That said, it'd be great to go from worst O to best O AND win the division.

Doesn't matter, tho, because there's nothing, but the BYE, then NYG. Love McVay's focus on the next game as the ONLY game.

10 wins can take the division as long as one is against the Seahawks to level the playing field in the event of a tie. But I don't think they get to 10 wins, they have barely beaten some bad teams and the Rams took them to the wire after handing them 5 turnovers.

I see the Rams going 5-4 the rest of the way as the most likely outcome but there is also a chance they get 6 wins.

While I believe in the one game at a time concept. I did see some interesting things. The Rams schedule everyone has picked through.....but the Squawks might have a bit of a problem. They play Jax in Jacksonville and I don't know if they have enough offense to get by those guys. Also, they play the Eagles in Seattle a week before we play the Eagles in LA. And as someone stated. Tough to win 2 road games especially if you are traveling across country (and even if they stay on the west coast....pretty trying being away from home for 10 days or so... Also, they still have to play Washington and Dallas.

So.......there's still many a mile left in this race.

Absolutely

Minnesota or Saints also

Depends on playoff implications and is usually announced 12 days ahead.

But as you mentioned...Seattle game would be more likely

Here we are at 5-2... gotta love it! No mirages here, folks. Yes, there could be (probably will be) a bump here or there...the rest of the schedule is pretty tough.

With the exception of the obviously bad teams (NY & SF), the remaining teams have a winning percentage of 62%. Assume they beat both NY & SF, they'd have at least 7 wins.

Figuring they'd need to win at least 10 games to get into the playoffs, are there three wins in the rest?

We'll see.

To me, any comparisons using historical data to project what outcomes might be for future games is flawed.

The Rams are a COMPLETELY different team from years gone by.

And, despite Manning getting some help coming back, they are still pretty much depleted of talent on the offensive side of the ball.

Not sure about that. Darkwa looked pretty darned good against a good Denver defense. Their o-line is trash but still if Eli has another weapon other than Engram, they could cause some trouble. Not saying the Rams wont win, just dont think its a layup

Yeah, I was thinking about "flex" possibilities yesterday as well. It'll complicate things for me a bit if it's a home game. I sure hope the Saints game is NOT even a possibility. That weekend already sucks for travel!

The thing is these Rams can beat any of these teams, but letdowns happen. I don't like saying who I think they'll lose to because they could also win. Everyone thinks Eagles is a loss, I don't. However, finishing 10-6 will be fine with me.

everyone needs to slow their roll!

One game at a time, improve each week, and stay healthy!

Ok granted my kegerator is stocked with kool-aid now, nonetheless I'm gonna throw down:

1 loss for the rest of the season, and that loss will happen before the playoffs.

Why? Well while the offensive turnaround is of course outrageous, I think this defense is only about 75% of where it's headed.

Legends are about to be born.

Week 14 vs Eagles.

"Who's #1- Goff or Wentz Bowl"

This game is going to be hyped no end by all the talking heads. Potential playoff implications. After all the back and forth on who should have been drafted first and who's better, Goff and Wentz get to square off against each other.

If there is any game the Rams sell out, this is the one, and it will have national attention. Could be moved to Sunday night ala "Flex Game".

So you are saying 13-3 and a SB win..........I say you are wrong and will be happy to say you were right!
