I've really soured on him after the Eagles game.

Getting tackled from behind after running free inside the 30 yards. A sure td became a fg. Frustrating.

Then the fumble after the rams d willed the team back into the game and gave them the ascendancy with the safety. He blew it all.

I don't care about the lack of explosiveness at RB by itself. It would be nice to have backfield explosiveness but the key is eradicating the fumbles. Williams does almost everything you want, the offense moves when he's in the backfield. He just has to show he can secure the ball.

Hopefully Corum is ready to challenge him this year. And Hunter as well, RB is a first year impact position if you draft it well. More competition will fix the fumbling even if it means it puts Williams on the bench.

He's an above average RB who gets volume RB1 carries. Ideally he'd be a RB2.

He's got his strengths (toughness, vision at times and Pass Pro) but he severely lacks burst, speed, ball control and versatility.

I certainly wouldn't pay him unless it was at or around what he's at right now.

And personally, I feel like drafting Hunter says a lot about where they're at with contract discussions. (I'm sure I'm wrong) but I'm sure the Rams have their number and him and his agent have theirs and wouldn't shock me if it's so far apart that the Rams decided to move on.

You simply don't pay RBs like Kyren, they're a dime a dozen.

The Rams fanbase will be like a starving man with a juicy t-bone steak with all the fixings placed before him, when watching Jarquez Hunter take it to the HOUSE for a 50 yard TD. Something we haven't seen a Rams RB do (that I can remember) since 2019.

If K-Will didn't fumble as much as he did, I'd advocate keeping him.

That's all I have to say on that, and it should be all I have to say on that.

Also, 1000 yard seasons aren't as impressive a stat in a 17 game season as it was in a 14 game season. Id say 1200 yard is impressive nowadays.

:woozy: As long as Jarquez tosses the ball to Kyren's mom after the score, I'm good with that.

Such an utterly false statement and complete disrespect for a Rams player.
Dime a dozen? Good grief.
His fumbles are an issue and it's hard to put trust in a guy like that, no doubt.
His production over the last 2 years is top 5 territory, 31 Total TD in last 2 years, any running back have more?
He's a TD & 1st down machine. 1/3 of his carries lead to a TD or 1st down. Again, that is top 2/3 in the league.
Is he a HOF RB like Saquon or Henry? Of course not. Is he dime a dozen? Only in a 49er fans eyes after he puts up a 3 TD game against them like last year

Funny you say that Kyren had 1003 Yards by week 14 and finished with 1299 in 16 this year, and 1144 in 12 last year. 26 rushing TD. Kyren is top 3 RB without speed. We just need someone to Duo with him when hes tired. This is where most of the fumbles come from. None of our back-ups have done anything.

Kyren seems to HATE November!

He's a good RB but not a great RB. that may be on the O-line to a certain extent but the Rams have eyes wide open for his replacement. Says a lot. And I can't stand fumblers. A fumbler can take a sure win and turn it into a loss all by themselves.

Corum wasn't able to take it from him in his 1st year and the RB position is one where that can reasonably happen...

As he should be based on his volume usage.

I'm not a Kyren guy, if he came back around the same current price sure. But that's it.

But 31 TD over 2 years is dime a dozen?
90 rushing yards per game at 4.5 ypc is dime a dozen?
Pancake blocks like this are a dime a dozen?

I get it, you think Kyren should be paid and is a Top Tier RB, I don't.

If that makes me a spoiled brat then so be it. Get over it.
Well it makes you a strawman when you have make up things that people said instead of dealing with it straight.
Spoiled brat may be too complimentary actually
You called Kyren a dime a dozen which is pathetic, and the fact that you are hiding from that makes it even worse
31 TD's, 90 yards a game is a dime a dozen? Good grief

McCutcheon, Dickerson, Jackson, Bettis, Faulk, Gurley are the type back I want. I'm hoping may be 1 of our 2 new backs might turn into be something special. otherwise, it is what it is. Yawn. Go Rams.
