LOL! That made me truly laugh out loud a couple of times.
That Cards win gave back the Rams some much-needed confidence heading onto this game. Same for me as a fan... I think some confidence in our team is a good thing.
But as far as superstitions go... without revealing any secrets, I'll just say I've got some plans to add some "magic positive juju" for our Rams on Saturday. I'll be doing my part for sure.

You are trying to rationalize your gambling issue with winning a pretty good sized bet on either the Rams losing or winning a nail biter.

Q got injured early in the Seahawk game. After he got injured is when Seattle started to move the ball. Since then the Rams have been very Mediocre. They were in the top 5 at that time and have dropped to 17th. To drop that far they had to play worse than 17th averaging in how good they were. With him back I don't think the Panthers will score more than 13. Including garbage time. Do they use the regular season crew? I thought playoff crews were like all star teams with best rated performers rewarded with a playoff game?
They did a great job in coverage. Seemed a step ahead. Their DC coached for McVay and you could see they did a great job in the first half, especially in coverage. McVay needs to break some tendencies.
They got a really good secondary. They picked off Purdy 4 times too. They gave QBs fits all season.

I was thinking Rams -7.5. That line kind of stinks to high heaven. Vegas seems to want Carolina money. I think the Rams cover.
Surprising the line is up to 10.5.
I think he’s explained it fairly well. While it’s a bet I wouldn’t make, I can see it from a pure betting standpoint. He wants the Rams to win but 10 points in a playoff game after we already lost to them isn’t outlandish to bet that the Rams might not necessarily cover.
I don't gamble with anything, and the only reason I'd ever go to a casino is to see if their food tastes any good.
But if someone gambles responsibly and doesn't hurt others with it, why not? And does it really make him any less of a fan to be nervous about this game? I'm fucking scared of this game, especially looking at the weather (thunderstorms? Really, Mother Nature?!), looking at the players Carolina are going to get back for this contest (their secondary and offensive line, in particular), and looking at guys like Dotson, Ferguson, Whittington (don't laugh; he's our best gunner and backup kick returner), and Wallace potentially being out as well.
This is the playoffs. Every team is 0-0, and nothing is guaranteed. I wouldn't bet on us to cover either, based on the last game we played in similar weather.

I am a real Rams fan and want the game over in the 1st quarter. Up by as many points as humanly possible.
If you do not want that, your gambling is far too important and you are not a true Rams fan IMO.
Gambling is kinda like porn, it rots your mind.
