That line is ridiculous for a home playoff team. It's going to take a special set of circumstances for the Rams to hold a 10 point lead. until the end of the game. Even if they're up 14 in the 4th, they're going to let the Panthers drive down the field if they're willing to dink and dunk and eat up the rest of the clock in the process. I can't imagine there's going to be a lot of action on the Rams -10.
Yeah, that line surprised me. I would think 7.5 would make more sense. The Panthers secondary is good, especially their CBs. The Rams will have to run the ball, and this is the kind of game where Higbee will really help. He and Parkinsin need to take advantage of Roseboom and their other LBs.

I don't care if the Rams are up 34-7 in the 4th quarter. I want to see McVay continue the pressure and to keep moving the ball and score. No more allowing teams to get back in the game by taking the foot off the gas pedal.

.

rams would have beaten these bozos by over 10 points easliy last game if stafford wasn't so busy throwing 3 picks, one a pick 6, and fumbling the ball away at the end of the game.

mcvay needs to slap him a few times before the game so he wakes up and gets focused.

yeah. There's lots of things I'd like to see McVay do, but the reality is often quite different. It's not just him though, it's just how teams in general approach late game leads.

I think the line is pretty accurate and that the Rams will cover.

Rams come into the game with confidence and momentum and they are PISSED. A great combo. Meanwhile, Panthers backed in.

Getting Davantae and Lake back will be huge. Higbee looked fantastic last week. Fingers crossed for Dotson, but not counting on it.

Bottom line, I think Rams are in a great position and I'm predicting a comfortable win on Saturday.

There are a lot of sports fans in betting states that “hedge their happiness”. Meaning when their favorite team plays in a massive game, they bet on the other team to win, even if they think their team is going to win. In this scenario, there are only two outcomes: you win money or your team wins the game. I have a buddy that’s an Eagles fan that bet $600 on the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl last year. An amount he was comfortable losing if his Eagles won but also as an amount that would slightly take the sting out of an Eagles loss if things went the other way.
Thats terrible.
People that do that kind of thing, its a tell. And not a good one.

It really is an insane line. Especially with the stupid NFL rules that favour offense to an absurd degree.

Sharps bet underdogs for a reason.

So, you kinda bet on the Rams to LOSE.

I did no such thing, but I'm not about to explain the basics of sports gambling to someone who doesn't understand it.

If it were up to me, you would have to go to Nevada or Atlantic City in person to bet on the NFL. Or see your bookie .

Good for what's up to you. I live in a jurisdiction in which sports gambling has been legal since 1992. I've placed thousands of bets in person. Thanks, though.

Clete Blakeman's crew fucked us in Atlanta....Rams WR's MUST act outraged when their arms are held when attempting catch, not act like everything was clean....(looking at you Toots)...
I recommend that as well. However, the same crews do not carryover into the postseason. The best rated performing officials move into post season.

Hopefully Stafford and McVay have the patience to take the underneath stuff when it’s there. That includes running the ball frequently when they see Carolina in the high shell look defense that Famgio also runs.

The one thing that concerns me about this game is we haven't been good on the road late in the season for the most part. Last win against a quality opponent was the whiners, and you can argue that's not exactly a road game. This is concerning.

+1.
I rewatched that last Carolina game and forgot how bad those turnovers were. We moved the ball very well and yes - the two TOs in the red zone killed us, along with the pick-6 of course. .
I listened to a podcast that said, even with Stafford turning the ball over, the offensive success rate numbers were one of the highest of any team in any game in the league up to that point. We got whatever we wanted.

I'd say we were phenomenal for 3.5 quarters against the Seahawks. We need that version of the Rams to stay present.

Here's hoping that our DBs can keep up with Carolina's receivers. Not just McMillan, but Coker's going to be a good one, and Legette was a first-round pick for a reason. Then there's the running game to consider: Dowdle and Hubbard are underrated running backs. Their tight ends are all fantastic blockers who can leak out into the flat and catch passes. And the defense has guys back that they didn't have in our prior game.

Thankfully for us, Ja'Tavion Sanders (their best receiving tight end, in my honest opinion) and Jonathan Brooks (a running back who would help in their passing game) are on IR, but this is not going to be an easy game to win. Do not look forward; just bear down, focus on one game at a time because every single game matters from now on.

Our Rams better be ready to go. If they come out laser focused in the same direction, the Panthers have no chance.

Too much sleepwalking in some of these games lately though.
