This is a tough matchup for the good guys. Not expecting a blowout. We're going to have to find a way to win it at the end I think. Could come down to a Mevis FG attempt to win it. Panthers will be a very confident group.

I hope not. The Panthers haven't looked good since playing us. They then lost to the saints, lost handily to the Seahawks, and had two sludge matches with the buccaneers (losing one). A Superbowl team should win this comfortably. Heck, if not for Stafford's 3 turnovers (2 in the red zone and one pick 6--minimum of 13 point swing) we would've beaten them comfortably last time.

Exactly. That's what I've been saying. Heck, you could look at all of the losses that way. The 2025 Rams have been the definition of "beating ourselves."

Its expected to be around 70 degrees in Charlotte, give or take. 50 percent chance of rain. Weather should not be too much of a problem. Stafford can handle throwing the ball if it does rain.

Exactly. That's why I'm confident in us. Nobody has been just better all season long. If we get bounced from the playoffs, it'll be a repeat of the 5 losses from this season.

Didn't he get sacked and fumbled to end that game? Or was that another game?

That was the game. But he rolled out of a collapsing pocket and proceeded to hold the ball in one hand. I was sitting in the section where he was rolling out to. I felt like I could see the whole thing playing out in slow motion lol. Defender was creeping up on him and he didn't notice somehow.

I have one name that played terrible in the Panther loss...FORBES!!! Not to hammer the guy...but I think we all remember him getting beat because he let the WR get behind him for 2 TDs. Despite Stafford's pick 6 and fumble.

I'm certain the defense is gonna be peaked for this...SO...I can't wait to see how Shula plays this one!!!

I'm seeing a lot of folks want a blowout game here...and that's possible...I JUST WANT A SOLID WIN!

Go in there FOCUSED AND HANDLE YOUR BUSINESS!!!

I see Rams 31 Panthers 17
I believe both touchdowns were also on 4th down. Inexcusable to let that WR run right by him. Carolina did the same thing Saturday vs the Bucs. 4 th down throw deep. Sounds like a tendency that we need to prepare for. No more explosive plays.

My thinking on the secondary is still going on. I'm wondering how often Shula goes nickle back there. I'm one who doesn't think the secondary is that bad as much as the defense calls may not be that good. Good vets like Williams and McCreary are good to have at this time and with Lake coming back I think this game is gonna be very different.

We know that the pass rush and the secondary compliment one another. This game is gonna be very different this time!!!

You could not ask for anything better here. Not cold, even if its a little rainy we've played in that multiple times. The Panthers were always going to have more day of rest, but they also played a road game last week while we played a home game. The kickoff is at 1:30 pacific time.

The Seahawks killed this team. They are inconsistent, but not very good. Our pass rush needs to get home this time. Their run defense isn't great, and while their pass defense is above average, our passing game is elite. This defense should not be able to stop us, and our defense SHOULD be able to stop them. And we are motivated by the fact that this game where we beat ourselves earlier this year - is what cost us the NFC West, ultimately. I'm convinced that we come out on fire against the Falcons if our loss to Seattle still had us in control of our own destiny.
