Landman looked a bit slow in this game. Verse - mmmm, he definitely made some big impact plays in this game, but I've noticed over the past few games that his effort is a bit iffy at times. Still wondering if he is hurt.

20 missed tackles in a game is insanely poor.

To be fair, the Bears offensive players (particularly Williams, Swift, Monangai and Burden) are known to force a lot of missed tackles. Caleb Williams honestly looks like Mahomes at times with the escapability, not the arm, but definitely an athlete who can make pass rushers look stupid. Burden's main quality is making people miss. Swift can make people miss a lot, and Monangai is a pinball of a running back.

Maybe Landman and Verse are hurting; everyone who plays is hurting by the playoffs of an NFL season, after all, but I thought both of them made huge plays in this game, particularly against traditional running plays. I think that if we key on JSN and force the other receivers to beat us, stop Walker, and get pressure on a much less mobile Darnold, I think we really can dominate defensively.

No arguments here. I see alot of media chatter about how the Rams can't beat Seattle because they barely beat the Bears. It simply doesn't work that way.

I still think we are the best team in the NFL when we are clicking. We dominated them the majority of the last game. I'm expecting to be heading to the Super Bowl after Sunday.

The biggest obstacle the Rams will have is their schedule over the last 6 weeks. This will be their 5th road gane in the last 6 weeks. I just fear they could run out of gas vs a team that has been at home most of the last 5 weeks, playing fewer games in the process.

I don’t think so (about Verse). I think it’s a lot of contain being played since we’ve faced a few mobile QBs. Less rushing the passer and more making him beat you.

20 missed tackles is inexcusable though

Offensive grades are pretty bad, as we'd expect. Kyren deserves a higher grade. As Baldy pointed out in his breakdowns, KW had a whole lot of little subtle contributions that were big.

Landman is a mystery. So dominating early on but it "looks" like he's lost his speed. Gotta guess he's nursing an injury.

Playoff game at Chicago has to rank as one of the best playoff wins in Rams History. On the road. Violent icy weather. Night game. Hostile crowd. You survive those more than you win them. Rams survived. It was epic. People critique a 3rd down call? Are you freakin kidding me? McVay took his team into frigid conditions and came out victorious. It was glorious.

I will take the WIN, Caleb is one of if not the hardest guy to get to. Both teams missed tackles.
They did what was needed to get to Seattle and this matchup should bring little in the way of surprises.
Win the turnover battle and make them pay when they make mistakes.
Team that plays cleanest should win

Landman and Verse had the critical 3rd and 1 stop at the end of the 3rd quarter forcing the punt. The play collinsworth said “no way they are punting here”

Verse made several other critical plays as did Landman. Wasn’t as bad as the PFF scores indicate when you consider the critical game changing plays made.

I don’t hate Collinsworth but he needs to tone down his color commentary. He’s becoming a knob-slobbing distraction. His “no way they are punting here” on 3rd down. Someone should have rubbed his nose in that shit. STFU with that.

Too many people get hung up on the last game the two teams played. Seahawks won by 35. Rams won by 3 in overtime. So it must mean the Seahawks win easily? Not so. Things change week to week. Rams have one thing going for them. The most battle tested team in the conference championships. They've been there. Know what it takes. It might not be pretty but they just find a way to win. This was a team many said was the most complete team in the league going into December. Shit happened and they stopped looking like it. They could easily find their mojo.

Also, the fact that they levelled it and took it into overtime with a ridiculous last play of the game.

When Williams started heading up the field in the wrong direction, I'm pretty sure half the Rams defence had got one eye on Seattle.

To do that and then not score in your first possession, and have the mental toughness to overcome the momentum that the Bears had built and still win, was nothing short of remarkable.

Mentally speaking, they're the toughest team in the NFL. No question about it, my man.

I have often said you have to find a way to win these hard-fought close games to become a championship team and the Rams have proven to be battle tested.

I put the less than expected performance of the O squarely on McVay. 9 plays of 13 personnel is what I heard. Really? Against a team that sucks stopping the run? Back up LBs? WTF? Chris Long thinks McVay might have got caught up in the hand shake bullshit and wanted to get pay back for his friend. I don't know about that, but it is really weird having a game plan that goes away from what turned your Offense into the best of the NFL. By McVay's reaction and his statements, he knows he is lucky he doesn't have to think about this game all offseason.

The more I watch the NFL, the more I realize most games are lost. Not won.

Being in position to take advantage of mistakes is the way to win a game.

He's so terrible. There are guys who can do that job in their "let your mouth run and say whatever you're thinking" mode, like Madden for example. But not everyone can do that and come away from it being likeable. Madden had an intelligence to him when he did that, as well, where he'd point out the shit that matters to casual fans and for fans that know the game better there was a sense of humor under it you could laugh at. Like a crazy uncle.

I really can't have the sound up when he's the analyst. First thing I do is look for the spanish feed, and if there isn't one then I turn the sound off.
