Forbes has fallen off a cliff.

PFF grades can be interesting but they are flawed.
The Rams rushed for 159 yards and 5.5 YPC, but, the OL generally graded out average or slightly above?
Stafford was also sacked once....there was some pressures allowed.
There were some nice runs with the RB finding seems that weren't the designed, but, the Rams OL dominated the Lions in the run game.
If this O can run the ball at 5 YPC it is literally unstoppable as long as there aren't bad, avoidable mistakes.

Ehhh Forbes had a few good games but he played like this early on as well. That’s why you wait for a larger sample size of games before deciding to give someone a big contract.

Do they have team position ratings as well?

Man, they are really trying to get Fergy going. Hope it works out in the passing game.

Snead made a comment in the coaches show this week about Stafford missing him a couple times. It's funny cause the last time he was on there for McVay was before the London game and JB had asked him why they aren't getting Ferguson going more after drafting him early. Nice to see him continue to progress and get more targets and meaningful snaps. Still makes mistakes and Stafford will miss him but it's good to see IMO.

Actually pff grades work a little different. A 60 is average. So being that most of the oline is in the high 70s to 80s with a couple high 60s means they had a good to great game. Shelton struggled but held his own.

I like looking at PFF each week to get some kind of perspective. But I take into consideration that there are a few flaws. Mainly need to look at the ones who played the most minutes to get a firmer grasp. They rate the players who made an impact with a few snaps pretty high and those that made no impact with a few snaps pretty low. Who knows what they bring if they were on the field more. Also Landman isn't in there. Dude had 10 tackles plus at least one pressure. Is he somewhere between Young and Wallace? A 65-68? Maybe. I think I saw him miss 1 tackle.

  • RG Kevin Dotson: 80.9

"Dotson allowed three pressures and two sacks but still somehow had a 65.6 pass-blocking grade."

And I like Dotson a lot but I wouldn't give an 80 for those stats. /shrug

Just freakin' win on Thursday.

These numbers are combined run/pass... jb long had the splits between run and pass for the oline...
Here you go..

I didn't notice it till after the game, but what happend to Ahkello Witherspoon? Didn't see him playing, was he inactive due to injury?

Yes, he was inactive. Note: IMO McVay was sort of evasive when talking about him being incactive.

In the limited snaps I have seen of his play he has not returned back to playing up to his pre-injury level. I thought he was really good in the opener and at the end of last season, especially in the playoffs. He is a better match up against the bigger receivers like Brown with the Eagles but does not do as well with the JSN and St. Brown types (few do well).
