Goff is just in that same tier of player Russell Wilson was with Seattle. Its difficult to evaluate a player in that tier because their play typically fluctuates drastically depending on the situation around them. I never thought about this comparison when Goff was here, but Seahawks fans and some in the media were throwing the 'elite' tag on Wilson and it used to drive me up a wall. If he had truly been that good, they never would have lost a game back in 2013-2015.
Kyren is a good example of a RB in this tier - I saw on another site that last year he had something close to 0 yards over expected, or something like that - basically an advanced stat saying he's the epitome of average. But he clearly has a "nose for the end zone", and can look the part at times.
