That’s not TRUE !! There was a GROUP who were saying he was a WASTED pick !!

I disagree because no one here knew for sure what was going to happen with Kyren Williams, plus Blake Corum has had injury issues each of his first 2 seasons & will be on his last season after this season.
He adds DEPTH & he is also a different type of RB!! There is NO RUSH for him(lol)
Not haters. Just fans with opinions. If he becomes a valued player they will be just as happy as you and me. So not haters.

Why....... why do people refer to well..... weed, cannabis as "lettuce" or 'tree" ????
And I am from HUMBOLDT. Seen more of it than most of you put together.
Is that lettuce thing some term people use from the city ?

OK. So I spent years in Phillipsville in the 80s and even back then during C.A.M.P. we referred to the Afghany weed as lettuce, the huge fucking plants as “trees”, other terms such as purple flower, sticky, skunk, trim, table fare, Porsche funds, devil cabbage, sunken drums, purple woods, stank, angel gloves, etc. The vet hill just referred to it as fundage. Funny thing is that I don’t think I EVER heard of it referred to as Cannabis.

I guess I don’t see your issue with terminology. Seems like an odd thing to be offended by.

I have grown hundreds of lbs of the stuff back in the day. The only time I ever heard of it called lettuce and tree was on the LA based Jim Rome show.
No one I knew of called it that. Never heard a real local call it that in my life.
I used to get this stuff and the kids called it "Ganni Balls. Little round buds, golf ball sized off the bottom of the stalks. I know the family from Petrolia who basically started the whole thing here when they went to Afghanistan back in the 60s and bought the seeds from the tribesmen. Big pea sized ones. It all spread from there, to Southern Humboldt, Weitchepec ect.
A "real" Afgani pot plant is maybe 5-7 feet tall and wider than it is tall, giant fan leaves. They can talk all they want, but the stains have been downgraded since then.
I said Cannabis just because that is the actual name when you go to get a permit to grow. They ruined it when they legalized it. You can get lbs for a few hundred bucks.
I go back before CAMP when you grew it our in the open and did not worry about a thing.
You guys can call it what you want, Go Rams.

You asked the question & seem to not have great knowledge on it.Have you ever been to Amsterdam? I say that only because there is history of marijuana. I’m not a loud to do it,and yes things have changed.
I don’t think it’s grown for the worst & actually I like that it’s legal.
Yes - Jim Rome who went to S.B. Has always called it hippy lettuce.
That has been his thing.
I heard it from back in the 70’s as what kind of weed.I always remember a NO CAL bud was called The KIND BUD.That was the skunk(indica). The Mexican shake week was just junk weed & a lot of seed.. Colombian Gold was sesimillia which were nice buds.
Ty-stick,
The history though once you look at it is pretty awesome & imo it should be legal & why growers should grow.
Now a days I agree it has sort of been ruined, but only because it really doesn’t one from it’s original form.Meaning OG Mother!!

It does sort of go way deep, but in general the street names gave you at least an idea of what you were getting.

What ? You think you are trying to educate me on weed ?
Good luck with that. Humboldt is about giant trees and weed. No one does it better.

Deleted 2 huge post ,but just my thoughts
My thing is seeds & genetics are SO Kool ! That’s my jam of you. An trace each plant’s history.
The different breeds, but not sure how much of a fan I am of it after years of its development.
I wonder the long term effects?
—In woman smoking weed & cigs will lower your life expectancies.Of course at what point does alcohol one into play as well ?

....I could tell you guys my stories. but in brief, way back in the late 80's, me & my pals did bad things to get enough $ to buy dime & quarter bags. they fought over who was smoking too much of it. when I was high, I did bad things that I still regret to this day.
I don't care if it's legal in many states now--sadly the day it became legal in our state, there were car accidents everywhere. It's bad stuff.

Yeah - glad you moved on from it.
Your way better off through admission.if I recall right you’ve shared some interesting stories from your past.
Your Rams stories have been good as well.I know we might not always agree.

Dude, I'm pretty sure EVERYTHING pisses this guy off. He gets mad at the auto correct for Asshole Face and Commodes and even got upset with someone using the JSM acronym the other day. I mean.... Get over your angry ass self. Maybe he needs to hit some of the weed he claims to know more than anyone about.

Sounds like someone needs to burn some lettuce and relax

I will trust McVay and the Ram coaches on this one, his time will come when he is ready.

Dudes only 22 years old & The Rams recieved a 1st rd pick & might of even taken him with there
1st rd to start.

Of course he catches a TD pass after all The DOUGHTERS.

It did show Davies & Higbee both were in on protection on the draw giving Stafford to turn sit in the pocket for the TD pass on a 4th down. Pretty Balsey play call by Mcvay.
