We did what a good team is supposed to do against a mediocre team. A mediocre team that was coming in high off a big win at that. This late in the season, consistency is everything. Look at how far the Seahawks and Pittsburgh have fallen out of SB favor due to embarrassing late season losses.

I don't think it's quite fair to call the Pats mediocre. They were 6-6 coming into the game. Yes, they lack playmakers on offense but they have great coaching, a good D, and are definitely capable of winning games as they did against the Chargers.

Waking up and seeing all the articles about the Rams dismantling the Patriots in prime time is glorious. I wanted the Rams to beat those cheating bastards but how they did it was even sweeter. Enjoy this week Ramily its been a long time coming!

Amazing the difference in my mood going into a mini bye week after a win, (especially this one) as opposed to a loss..I'll enjoy this time and especially when I can look forward to the Jets...Better be careful though, certainly would be untenable to let them get off the schnide...
