I stopped reading after he said John Kelly would be leaving.
I didn't think that the article was THAT bad....for example,
Troy Hill might be "disgruntled" because they took his number and gave it to Weddle without asking Mr. Hill. That could pizz a guy off n'est-ce pas?
Also, John Kelly was drafted in the 6th Round in 2018 to be our change-of-pace back, NO?
So, if Kelly was already on our roster last December, how come Snead went out and signed CJ Anderson huh? Maybe John SidewalkSurfer Kelly was a disappointment?
Also, if Kelly was drafted to be our change-of-pace RB in 2018, how come we spend a 3rd Rounder in 2019 to Draft another change-of-pace RB huh? Might John Kelly be a disappointment??
That USC RB kid Justin Davis has some breakaway speed....ie. he can outrace guys to the edge and turn the corner......does Kelly have that? I dunno.
McSnead had no hesitation about cutting Sam Rogers the RB/FB they selected as their 2017 SIXTH Rounder.....so why would they hesitate to cut their 2018 SIXTH Rounder Mr. Kelly huh??
Just asking.

Yeah, I somehow doubt he's in that much demand - if any at all. I'm hoping they trade him for a 7th, and get a player who wants to play for the Rams - likely for less money.
— Dude still wondering where this QB is ??
They're much more likely to give up on Davis than Kelly. Kelly plays well on STs, runs hard inside, and should be a solid back in pass protection after learning from last year. Davis doesn't do anything particularly well (not even STs). He costs more than Kelly to keep and costs less to let go.
Yeah, they didn't draft every position they were looking at - but it wasn't a secret they did look at QB. Oops. Surely this wasn't your first draft? The question sure makes it seem that way.
Really ??? Why didn’t they draft a QB ??
When was the last time The Rams & Les Snead drafted a QB ?!
Jared Goff ?? When The Rams have Blake Bortles on there squad they are not looking for a QB. Of course they do there due diligence.
Then why didn’t they bring in a UDFA ?? They have there QB’s maybe they were one of the teams the Giants thought we’re going to move up & draft the QB from Duke ??
Well, offhand - they had more needs and holes they wanted to fill than picks - so they went where they felt there was value. They didn't interview half a dozen QBs for the heck of it, during a time they were very busy. And they have kept three quarterbacks, even for part of last season. They cut the third eventually because he wasn't very good, and they had other uses for the roster spot.
Here's a hint - Bortles is on the team for one season. There needs to be someone developed - but given they have many more needs for 2020 than they had picks, they picked where they felt there was value. You know, like good teams do.
It is sheer fantasy to think that the Rams looked at QBs for the heck of it. Before the draft multiple posters listed the Rams' needs - which were more than their picks. Nothing unusual about that, at least if you actually pay attention.
They haven't brought in a UDFA QB because they already have a camp arm. Why waste time on another guy who isn't worthwhile from the Rams' perspective? There's only so many snaps even in preseason, and Bortles will be taking a lot of work, trying to bring him up to snuff. If the right guy comes available, that changes things though.
