It has been a while since the our Rams had back to back blow-out wins. Two 30+ games with easy points still left on the field with the kicking game in both games.

The Rams had many long time Consuming drives and controlled the cloak superbly.
  • Time of possession - Rams 43:53 and Saints 16:07 (DOMINANCE on both sides)
  • First Downs - Rams 30 & Saints 10
The last three games the Rams have only given up 3, 7, and 10 points respectively.

I know its a celebration thread but the FG/EP kicking operation dampens the mood and my optimism for another Super Bowl run. It has already cost them 2 games and it could cost them the Super Bowl. It Might be time to fire Blackburn. The Special teams have taken a step back after Blackburn's assistant (can't recall name) from last year was poached.

But......Rams Won!!!!

Kill the !*%#@$ Whiners!!!!!!

*ALMOST* a clinic game!!! Now let's be real...THE RAMS HAVE TO GET THAT 49er MONKEY OFF THEIR BACK!!!

Doesn't it irk you??? Well...maybe not. When they really need to beat the 9ers, they've been able to do it. The thing is...the Rams are 0-1 in the division with 9ers and Seahags coming up.

IT'S TIME TO SHOW YOUR MASTERY IN THE DIVISION TOO!!!

This team is fun to watch. Love the TE usage recently!! Also love watching this defense grow up before our eyes. That DL is feasting. Forbes had himself a day also. Good shit.
I love that every time a tight end caught a ball he wasn't going to take the easy out and would lay the wood on the defender.
Especially Higbee.

His solo tackle on Hill was impressive, read it and attacked instead of waiting for the runner to come to him.

Yeah, if I'm honest, Forbes was the single most impressive defensive player on the field for us this week. Sticky in man, great in run support and stopping the wide receivers right where they caught the ball without YAC, and had a nice pick where he read Shough like a book to seal it off.

Agreed. Appears Forbes is benefitting from the coaching and the scheme. He seems to be positioned well and using solid technique most of the time. Now he's tackling better.

Let's see how he fares in some bigger games
He is improving.
He attacked tackling today instead of sitting back and waiting for ball carrier to get to him.
If the Rams can tap into some of his first round talent his signing is a steal of steals for Snead.

McCreary played on Special Teams but did not get any defensive snaps.
He'll get defensive snaps once he has the system down. Right now, I'd be fine with trotting out a Forbes, D-Will, Durant lineup until McCreary's ready. Once Spoon gets healthy and McCreary's ready, our defense goes to an insane level.

McCreary's number, by the way, for those who don't know, is 35.

I'm pretty sure McCreary is wearing #25 my friend.

Okay. Never trusting Wikipedia again. Thanks, Allen!
It was originally reported (even on the Rams' Team Site) as #35 but was changed a day later; and McCreary was wearing #25 on Special Teams yesterday.
Still, if you want ... I will hold Mr. Wiki while you beat the Pedia out of him
