Rams Cuts Begin

None of the cuts so far have been big surprises. I think the holdup is because they are trying to workout trades. I would doubt Perkins is trade bait in this time of pandemic reality.

I think Hekker is on the table, and perhaps so is Kiser. But this piecemeal release would seem to suggest there are multiple players they are trying to get traded at the last minute knowing they won't clear waivers.
 
With covid being a thing I'd keep 3 QBs and have your third separated from your other two just in case. If that's dividing out a pod in the meeting room for them to live in during meetings so be it. You want no contact tracing to them with your other two because if on a friday one of them tests positive like the Rams punters did in preseason and you have to play in two days with no QB that's a problem. I don't see this as a surprise for this season especially since the NFL is threatening forfeits if a team can't play and it can't be rescheduled within the normal season parameters.

Hekker is at practice, no word on Corey. They can't trade someone not on the roster. But Corey does not have to clear waivers as a vet.
 
Terrell Lewis is at practice so keeping him IMO was not a major surprise. He's going to be a rotational player basically on a snap count this year IMO

Banks is intriguing. J. Williams & Hoecht were such go udrfa’s. The depth shows & Bobby Brown was such a good draft pick.

E.Brown though is another guy I like,but think he is still to young & Raw.
 
Need updates on Deayon, Reed, Orr, and AJ.
