I might buy that with Harris available to take some of those WR6 snaps. If they get passed Wolford it doesn’t matter who is taking snaps.

His play against their first team defense seems to be impressive. It’s comical though you say numbers on the scoreboard when Wolford has been annointed a viable qb2 and good in spite of not putting numbers on the board and a habit of getting hurt.

I’d rather keep Hekk as #3 at least he has game experience :devil:

And, with Perkins at QB we aren’t winning any games.

Perkins is nothing but a very safe insurance policy stop-gap moment in time QB. Perkins will never win you any games. He will get you a few first downs running though. He does not have an NFL-caliber arm to make those big tight throws or go deep. His long ball throws remind me of Goff's.

Yeah Perkins didn’t put up TDS playing with 2nd and 3rd team offense against Denver. Wolford failed with Akers, Woods and Kupp along with Whit and the boys in front of him. Wolford looks bad when you put the surrou cast in to the picture and Denver’s D is much better than Arizona and even Seattle.

Will be curious to see how many teams keep 3 QBs. With the caveat that one isn't a drafted rookie.

Edit: Atlanta is already at 53 and have Ryan, Rosen and Franks.

I respectfully disagree....as much as I like and appreciate Wolford, IMO, Perkins may well have more upside over time. I'm admittedly surprised they went initially with 3 QB's, but delighted if true.

This is kind of my thought and I said it a couple times before. If you have Wolfy as your #2, I kind of think you have to carry a third on your roster.

It’s all good but neither of them has a ceiling above QB2. We’ll have to see who else gets cut before knowing who else might have been developed into a real contributor.

Yes he was definitely late on a lot of throws. Guy has a lot of questions no doubt. But I am happy they made room for him. :thumbsup1:

has there been cuts already? Read about players practicing now & cuts come later ? Maybe it was these players are going to get cut but still practicing?

Only a couple so far today. But right now the reporters are counting heads and comparing who's there and not there vs rosters so we should have info here real soon.
