I expect the Rams to win a hard-fought game against the Raiders. My biggest concern with the Rams is at MLBer.

And what's going to happen if we somehow miraculously make the playoffs with the #32 ranked defense?
This isn't the 2000 Rams offense, we can barely score 17 points a game.
It will be a quick one and done at best.
their is no way we will win the division if the D is still ranked last. So it is assumed that the whole team improves if we believe the team can win the division.

fixd :)

Coach must know something we don't seeng Speights and Hummel haven't seen Defensive snaps. But obviously Rozeboom and Reeder are huge liabilities and single handedly the reason we have one of if not the worst defense in the league. With one caveat... Shula, I'm not sure of his abilities to be an elite Def Coord.

The good news after the bye is that I can't possibly be more disappointed than I already am. The only thing I'm worried about is that McVay genuinely gets discouraged enough to retire from coaching like he's been threatening to do for the past few years now.
you know I kind of agree. I'm super disappointed. If coach hadn't mulled over retirement and gave us the idea, he might leave then I would be comfortable about the team's direction, but when some say, I wonder if coach is going to stay after Stafford or he doesn't want to develop a rookie QB. Isn't that what good coaches do? I feel like if true that he's gonna leave b.s. then he will move on, and we will be looking for the next coach again. I'm sure he will be here at least a few more years. But...I really thought a young coach like McVay would be here foreverish.

I think the difference is last year after week 6 we were 3-3 which is a world of difference statistically to make the playoffs than our record currently of 1-4.
And Shecocks were 4-2, and the Whiners were 5-1. That really puts in pretty much the same position record wise. The whiners have two more losses at this point and we have one more loss.

I don't think anyone is kidding themselves thinking we're in great position. But it can happen.

This is starting to look like 2022. Everyone picking us to be a legit contender. Injuries derailed everything. Then 2023 everyone picked us to be finishing with a losing record. We make the playoffs. So of course everyone picking us to be a legit contender this season. Injuries derailing us again.

Next year they will be predicting a 5 win season for us. We will win 13 games and go on to be Superbowl champs again. Aaron Donald will get the itch to play again and make the game saving sack. Be patient. Its coming.

I’m not going to let up on MCVAY & his play calling. It’s next man up.

They had The Bears beat if they just run the ball & keep the game in front of them. You have to protect Stafford by mixing things up more.

We just now saw Blake Corum & what he can do as well.Ram Fans blaming the DEFENSE is F’d up. Missing AD ? Maybe but the upside of this team is ridiculous in my mind. They can get after the ball.

Yes- Bobby Brown & Troy Reeder are weaknesses.Brown though is getting outplayed by Turner who is better in that spot(NT).
They will figure it out though. It has been the injuries to the CB’s & T” White has been horrible!!! Take away a couple of those big plays & protect the football & The Rams are easily 3-2 if not 4-1.
-they got LUCKY on there 1 win though & my hope is they can go to SF & win there . At this point though thinking about the playoffs is sort of silly.

Let’s see what happens against the Raiders at HOME(sofi). Have to lol that if they were doing better than the rams ? What color would we see in the stands ?? Still the silver & black could show up well?

I guess that is going to be the gage of the future. Is to see SOFI filled in Rams gear & represent there HOUSE!!! The slogan might sound good but the colors tell the truth.

I think we have to many flaws on Defense to win many more games this season. If the Coaches trot out Reeder and Rozeboom in this next game I see no way we can win. Raiders will play a tough brand of football and we might give up 200 yards on the ground.

The bye is over...and while the sports media has really gotten as bad as the news media...this week leads to the Raider game.
The Rams are by all the gossip about trading Stafford..stuff stirred up for the most part to get hits on sports media websites.

So now the question mainly comes around getting healthy on offense because the Rams gotta put up points given how bad the defense is with LBs and the secondary.

Is Kupp, Puka and Avila gonna get back...BUT...(as continues to be a head scratcher), will McVay again push Tutu back on the depth charts?

How does the defense get better? Does they offense get better in the red zone?

I just don't know folks...

Of course if this is the team, then making the playoffs is difficult. But the offense is missing two OL and their top two WRs. Yet still beat the 9ers and had the ball in last drive of game to win against a really good GB team. Probably should have won against everyone’s favorite the Lions week 1 too.

Get the OL back, Kupp and Puka - this offense will be completely different. The points will be there. Which will take some pressure off the young D.

I’m imagining what this team can be once healthy - not what they were/are. I don’t think the NFC is looking forward to that day.

If anything was evident in the last 3 games it’s that Whittington and Atwell are weapons in the Rams offense. Sorry for those who like them but TJohnson and Parkinson are not.

I honestly think the Starting Wr Core when we are healthy should be : Kupp, Puka, Tutu! Then Jordan backing up both Kupp and Puka to keep those two not Hurt. Have at least some type of combo of the 3 out there, and Robinson backing up Tutu. Tyler Johnson bench warmer!

As for TE we are missing Big Hig man.
