Copeland has really been playing well too.Well, with Copeland down and Hoecht on the Edge, the Rams had just three healthy DL in Gaines, Brown and Williams on the 53-man-roster.
Bummer for him.

Yes he has especially against the Run.Copeland has really been playing well too.
Bummer for him.
That is the one benefit to lost seasons like this one.Yes he has especially against the Run.
I'm counting before that. Our top pick Bruss OL out for the year in preseason, a bad omen.Injuries started Week 1.
Stafford’s beatings started then.
12 different Oline combos.
Without peeking that was the dirty hit by Clay on Foles that rattled him and he was never the same for us.2015
I agree about Thomas and SkuraThat is the one benefit to lost seasons like this one.
You are forced to play young guys that weren't getting much action.
Copeland has proven that he can be a regular part of the DL rotation. Im hoping Brown does the same over the next few games.
With Baker throwing them the ball the young WRs are already starting to step up in Tutu and Skow.
The more I think about it I agree with getting Thomas in at G over Skura.
As Ive said Id resign Skura to a cheap vet deal to keep as a vet depth guy inside, but, lets see what Thomas can do.
Skura is not bad really.I agree about Thomas and Skura
Skura is better than Evans but that is not saying much
The injuries started very early in the season. Game one I believe. Plus see my last reply belowI meant before the injuries started you guys we’re struggling. You think the Super Bowl hangover affected you guys? Also I’m not trying to be disrespectful and sorry if it comes off that way. You guys are the Defending champs still. You’ll bounce back and I hope you do.
At least you had a first round pick as a backup. The Rams two backups combined don’t make a fully legit NFL backup QBI meant the loss of Kupp and Stafford. I know how you guys feel cause I feel the same way this year. It hurts.
No idea, but hopefully he decides before Mayfield leaves. Mayfield isn’t great but he’s miles better than Perkins and Mayfield. I hope Stafford comes back. You think Stafford will come back next season?
That depends on if he wants to possibly be a backup to Stafford or not.Is Baker the future you think?
Yes, you are likely correct. Also, Stafford didn’t throw in preseason. He hadn’t built any chemistry with Allen Robinson. Henderson and Akers were apparently injured until late in camp and KW was injured in preseason.I still maintain some of the injuries and aches and pains started last year. I don’t want to belabor the point, but 21 games in 23 weeks is tough enough, but it was then followed by a shorter than usual off season. Guys like Higbee and Floyd were running on fumes and limped into this season. I don’t think they’ve ever been 100% this year. Their play certainly suggests it. I’d bet there were other players “un-healed” at the beginning of camp and just didn’t get enough time to heal. Ramsey had a procedure and our #3 WR (VJ) didn’t even show up until the season was already lost.
The bills as an opener was a tough draw, but the Rams just didn’t look that sharp at any point this year until, ironically, the last 2 games. There has been an energy boost from some of the backups and new acquisitions. The battle worn Rams limped into this season.
I would not be surprised to see the next defending champs go through a similarly banged up situation.
…but there’s already talk of an 18 game season!
I picked the Rams before the season started to win the division. This year it’s weird how the Rams, Packers, Colts, Steelers, Raiders, Cardinals and Bucs are all awful. I believe all these teams but the Colts made the playoffs last year. The injuries started very early in the season. Game one I believe. Plus see my last reply below

So the QB, the #2 receiver and all three RBs were not firing on all cylinders on the first week of the season.
Shanahan owns Aaron Rodgers. Why doesn't Aaron say that? It seems to roll off the tongue so conveniently when it's the Bears.I always wonder what would have happened last year if we played you guys in the NFC Championship in Lambeau had we not gagged against the 49ers.
I guess who knows what would have happened. We never do well in the NFC Championship Game.Shanahan owns Aaron Rodgers. Why doesn't Aaron say that? It seems to roll off the tongue so conveniently when it's the Bears.
Honestly Shanahan owns the McVay tree, except McVay during the playoffs.I guess who knows what would have happened. We never do well in the NFC Championship Game.
"Hold my beer."Nobody on this forum is likely to get too cocky to predict a Rams win after the season we’ve had.

I’m sure Stafford also cuts a little slack to the F.O. for historic injury plague this year…not a total exemption but some grace nonethelessMy thoughts exactly.
