Well, if he's to keep up with Baker the Touchdown Maker, he has to have at least 5 to 10 sacks his first game.

I don’t understand why the Rams are struggling this year. I know just the last couple weeks injuries hit you guys but I don’t understand why your this bad. You guys will bounce back next year though if Stafford comes back.
Injuries started Week 1.

Stafford’s beatings started then.

12 different Oline combos.

No idea if Murchison can play but, apparently, Seattle and Detroit also put in waiver claims.

In the last game with Baker - he probably didn't even know the names of all the WR's...
But hey - The OL probably had cases where they did not know the name of the guy lining up next to them... :woozy2:

Is Baker the future you think?

Hard to say, right?
At the very least Baker should be convinced to be a backup to Stafford - but depending on Staffords health and all, it would not surprise me if he went full on retirement.

We do not make the same decisions at 35 yrs old, that we would make at 65 and vice-versa....

I do.

His body will feel good…time to rest the arm/elbow. He’ll want to erase this year and put up a better performance.

9 is a competitor.

He’s a competitor for sure, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it depends on whether McSnead proves they’re seriously upgrading our OL. Spinal contusions are no joke, Staff’s wife is already alarmed, and Staff/Kupp/AD/Ramsey are a window. Staff’s a better man than me if, after such serious injury, he isn’t harboring some resentment for our FO letting our OL rot out from under us.

My thoughts exactly.

Man we are sorely injured on both the oline and the dline. What a catastrophic year for both lines. And QB and WRs

REALLY? Ok RB hasn’t been disappointing. Can’t blame the O’Line either.

Funny HENDO got his wish.

You know moving forward Sean Mcvay calls you out before the season there is a problem

Akers - HENDO - Williams.

The injuries started before the season and never stopped.
There was such a small sample size of "struggle", it's impossible to know.
If you looked at the Bengals after 3 weeks.. you'd have thought their season would be awful.

I still maintain some of the injuries and aches and pains started last year. I don’t want to belabor the point, but 21 games in 23 weeks is tough enough, but it was then followed by a shorter than usual off season. Guys like Higbee and Floyd were running on fumes and limped into this season. I don’t think they’ve ever been 100% this year. Their play certainly suggests it. I’d bet there were other players “un-healed” at the beginning of camp and just didn’t get enough time to heal. Ramsey had a procedure and our #3 WR (VJ) didn’t even show up until the season was already lost.

The bills as an opener was a tough draw, but the Rams just didn’t look that sharp at any point this year until, ironically, the last 2 games. There has been an energy boost from some of the backups and new acquisitions. The battle worn Rams limped into this season.

I would not be surprised to see the next defending champs go through a similarly banged up situation.
…but there’s already talk of an 18 game season!

We were 2 -1 and then we had to start Evans in game 4 and it was all downhill from there. That is when the collapse started.

And then the very next week we had to start Kolone at center.

With Evans and Kolone starting, we had zero chance in those games.

Stafford got hit sacked or pressured at minimum 20 to 25 times in those games. It was simply ugly.

Every time I saw Evans starting, I went - well we lost this game.

One of the draftniks on another board had this information about Murchison. Head is Deadpool.

He would have been my 11th overall ranked IDL in that draft. Rashard Lawrence was #10 and he was 103rd overall.

108. Larrell Murchison - IDL - NC State - 6'-2" 297 lbs. - A nose for the ball with a great motor. Not the rangiest 3 tech, but he will apply constant pressure.

I'd say a pretty decent pickup

I actually think our reign is over. I think we will be on the bottom of the division for a long time. We have been unlucky with bad breaks this year, bad officiating, losing close games and injuries. It’s been horrible. Last year though we were lucky as I didn’t think we were as good as our record. I think we win 6 games only.
How did the Pack lose to Tampa Bay & not win the Superbowl? The Packers or 9ers helped The Rams out last season.

IMO it would have been tough for The Rams going to Green Bay & win.Lafluer is a good coach so I don’t think Green Bay will be that bad.

What is going to happen is the NFC Central is going to be real tough.Jared Goff can take Detroit to the Superbowl & be that veteran QB that is a Team First guy.
Fields looks better than Love.Vikings & Kevin O’Connel have a short window & better win now though.
—IMO the 9ers are going to dominate the NFC West, but The Rams will compete for wildcard spots each season.

Oh yeah D-coach, thanks for info.

If my memory is right Inhad him as a sleeper.I believe he was in the Senior Bowl & sort of disappeared during practice?

Whatever it was he dominated at NC State & they had one The Best in the NCAA.

Just his size & age makes him an ascending player.I don’t know what The Rams D”Coaching is going to be DEAN? Not sure your stance either, but WHAT I KNOW is Eric Henderson is One of The Best DL(if not) best coaches in The NFL
