I had no particular poster in mind when I made that comment. I just remembered thinking it was odd that some posters were so sure when it only takes one team to like and want to claim a waived player; plus the simple fact that almost every team needs/wants O-Linemen.
Totally, my reply was more "hey look at this post, I want to comment" than anything

SEC fan here, i wanted the Rams to draft this guy. Hes tough as nails and runs hard in between the tackles. Who knows what happens but loved him in college.

Love this move I actually think he could push Rivers off the roster. Also, an alternative to Williams returning kicks and punts.

Durden was waived to make room for Gallimore; and McDermott was put on IR for Schrader's spot.

The McDermott move surprised me; and is a little concerning because the Rams may not have a back-up OT to open the season. Noteboom will be at LT for the first two games; and, if Havenstein is not ready, McClendon will start at RT.

As the Rams are currently down to just eight OL on the 53, Limmer and Bruss would be the only healthy reserves. Arcuri could be activated off the Practice Squad but the Rams would be really limited at OT.

The thing about Schrader is that he's a fantastic receiver and blocker. Really did everything for Mizzou last year and was the engine.

I still am pining for Luther Burden III, but he's going top five.

I wasn’t surprised by Boston Scott release. That half ass arm tackle in the open field for a 1st down plus quite a bit more he went down with in the last preseason sealed his fate. It was horrible effort and I don’t blame them to tell him to get the fuck out. Others in the GDT seen it to.

Anyways, know nothing of our new RB but I’ll take him with all the praise he’s gotten so far. Excited to see what he has.

He fits the McVay RB mold. He looks solid and a one-cut downhill runner. Seems like the Rams had him in their sights as a possible draft pick.

The thing about Schrader is that he's a fantastic receiver and blocker.

More McVay traits in this RB. thanks.
