Apparently McVay said that Noteboom was still just doing individual work on side and still not full practice? And not disclosing what the injury might be?

Sounds weird. Kinda hard to imagine Boom as starting RG if he's hardly getting any reps. Now I'm back to thinking Anchrum will be out there vs. Seattle.

Sure as heck sounds like it. Supposedly healthy player not practicing due to an "undisclosed" injury.

Boom with a 20M cap hit in 2024, yikes.

Really hard to imagine they could get anything for him with that contract right now. Maybe one of those "let's swap 7th rounders just please take on his contract" type deals.

Then again, maybe he has a slight nagging injury and they're trying to be careful with him. But it sure smells like he's on the trade block.
 
I think McVay must have just heard that Trey Lance was demoted to 3rd string and not in 9er camp. He was very disappointed to hear that news - best chance for regular season win against them this year now gone. It’s a shame.

Hahahahaha... but in all seriousness, I put way more stock in the reporting coming out of these practices than what I'm seeing in these games with none of our offense or defense is being game planned. In these practices, we're running actual plays that go beyond day one install on both sides of the ball.

For instance, Hampton had a couple nice pressures today when he looked like he couldn't do anything in the preseason so far. I'll put more stock in the former right now.

(Still scared sh*tless about our pass rush though!)
