It got better certainly.
The pass rush has fallen off greatly however overall.
Turner did say that in the second half Shula told them to get after it. That does imply they were being very conscious of a run D first approach in the first half.
This has been the constant when the pass rush seems less effective. Shula has been focused on run contain and doesn't have it dialed all the way up. The good news is, he can turn it on and let them loose whenever he wants.

At the end of the day, the Rams have the 3rd best scoring defense. We shouldn't worry - the front 7 is good.

If a players isn't able to run the game plan then he shouldn't play.
Injuries happen.....something like a hamstring can get irritated at any time. A deep route with sprinting can do it, but, so can catching a little swing pass and trying to cut to avoid a defender.
Injuries are injuries, no one to blame.

DUDE - think you’re a little crazy with your assumption? I say that for the same purpose if DAVANTE ADAMS plays Thursday??
Then again IMO maybe he shouldn’t be out there at all if he’s going to injury himself worse.

BTW - when you talk about say the route tree. They threw it to him earlier in the game.My point is doing it say when you already know the first 15 Plays !! You are warm & know when your number is going to be called -verse- later in the game & hurting a bit from earlier & the day is 10 degrees colder.

To each his own.I’ll say on that play sequence, that’s on Sean Mcvay.Posting or screaming at him across the field isn’t going to change anything. It won’t change my opinion either.

If he's not healthy enough to do what he needs to do then he should sit.

Noticed the focus on run stopping.

No more RBs going wild on that D like last season.

Seems like they can turn it on when they make teams one dimensional.

Well I think he will sit TONIGHT!! It’s not because he can’t & isn’t healthy enough. It will be because Sean Mcvay (Reggie & Adams) think it’s BEST for him to finish The Season & The Playoffs.

I can see Davante playing tonight & being in in The Red Zone.Stretching him out would be FOOLISH! Sort of like late in the Game against DETROIT!!
It wouldn’t be an issue if he doesn’t make that play call, which actually gave the Lions more of a chance to comeback.

As much as I'd like to see Adams play tonight, I don't see it happening. And it shouldn't. Its the biggest game of the year, but they're in the playoffs no matter what. We're gonna need him healthy for the stretch run. Whittington is a decent possession receiver. Smith and Tutu are the deep threats. And Parkinson has filled in nicely as the TE1. I'd like to see Corum get more touches. The game seems to be slowing down for him in his second year.
