My reasoning is the reason why.
Question is how do you know that?
In all likelihood they wont sign him and he'll be looking for a team come spring, but.... If the Rams did bring him in I'd believe that they believe he's got something left

OBJ had plenty of playing time after his injury with the Rams. He clearly wasn't the same WR. Age, injuries, and now 3 years older. That's how I know that. He just didn't look the same, and now he's 33 years old. No way he could crack the starting lineup on this team at this point. You don't think he'd be on a 53 man roster if he could be?

Not that I would label the Parkinson signing as 'desperation' but the Rams were very thin at TE at the time.

Higbee had suffered a serious knee injury in the playoff loss to the Lions, and would not play until December. All the Rams hadrstan at TE were Hunter Long, Davis Allen coming-off his rookie season and @Loyal's favorite player ... Nikola Kalinic.
I understand, but in the offseason they target guys scouted by their scouts who have identified a guy with the traits they believe they can develope. He obviously was still raw and needed proper coaching to bring out his best. You dont think the rams didnt know that? The guy was a back up. By now with all the guys this board have said to dump that turned out to be key to the rams success, we should realise the rams are good at the long game. Filling a need isnt always defined by desperation.

I feel like I've been somewhat critical of Ferg but have been impressed with how his blocking has come on over the course of the last 5 games or so... curious what you're critiques are - I think he still has a lot of work to do on his hands - problems he had in college still an issue - but it looks like he's a hard worker by the improvement in his blocking and think he can get better there. (I also suspect he needs a bunch of work on his route running and time on task with his QB - prob a bit of both when it comes to timing with him and Stafford).
Yeah. I think that bad miss when he was wide open was more him not cutting at the right time so he was not in the right spot when Matthew threw the ball. I still think he shows a lot of promise.

Would be a great week for a breakout game.

I don't care what anyone says...the Bone unis look sharp.

Something different than the standard white that EVERYONE does.

And we got a good record in em....

Well, part of my celebration is the Rams winning 11 games and me winning $115 on a $100 bet!

Now I need them to win the NFC and of course the Super Bowl, then I'll be on the plus side of my bets.

That was a tough one, but it was closer than it should have been. I think we all expected a high scoring game.

The Rams LB's played a great game. They were all over the field helping on the run and the pass.
Well...there were a few posters in the game thread complaining about the secondary. I guess they considered the Lion WRs as trash or something, rather that understanding they were a very good group. The Ram secondary played to contain them NOT stop them. Also, think about how well they contained Gibbs and Montgomery...70 yds rushing total while KW/Corum combined for 159 total. Furthermore Gibbs had only 20 receiving.

Look at the difference in offensive totals: Rams 519 Lions 396 The Ram D' did pretty weel in my book...especially in the 2nd half after they adjusted a bit.

Now comes Seattle on Thursday...and they have a pretty good WR corps. Shula will again work to contain those guys KNOWING you can't totally stop them.

I put 50 on over 9.5 wins , 50 to make playoffs and 25 on winning SB

Very good points.

I get frustrated with our DB's as well, but it has changed since Lakes injury. He really made a difference

The spot on this play was awful. Should’ve been a first down. They shorted him like 2 yards.
Seems like that shit happens to us a lot.

You've seen him play recently?
Not to mention the key isn't whether he's the same dude, but rather does he add something better than the rest of the depth chart. So you bring him in and find out. Very simple.

This is what I like about Campbell, he doesn't dance around the media. HE TELLS IT LIKE IT IS and is a down to earth coach!!!
This is why he's already a top coach in this league. Dude knows how to lead a room.

I like the all bone look. I don’t like the royal top with the bone bottom. The royal and sol look so good together.
