Dink and dunk offense is the Rams Kryptonite these days. It negates the pass rush and takes advantage of that big cushion provided by the secondary. It’s hard to watch and doesn’t let the offense get into any kind of rhythm.

This team may reach the playoffs but I doubt they get very far.
Wait! So you're blaming the impotent Rams offense on the D not doing its job well enough?

We’re all hoping that too. What we are seeing on the field now is not going to work in the playoffs if and when we get there.
Problem is teams now have tape on an entire season, and more importantly, the last 8 weeks of our offense at full strength.

I think its obvious that they see no deep threat and as a result are trying to take away all the underneath stuff, flooding that area of the field. And yes, both our WRs struggle to get separation when pressed in man, plus CB's getting a lot of help from safeties or LBs.

We will need a deep threat/man beater type WRs to compliment Nacua... and Kupp, if he stays here.

Ventebrating again. Great to beat the Cards after the early-season ass-whooping they gave us. I've been waiting 3+ months for that. What an ugly game though, but big plays made it for us. Not sure what is going on with Stafford. His throws were off - like a pitcher who suddenly loses the strike zone and walks everybody.

Noteboom was almost the death of the offense with his penalties.

Ahkello made some plays beyond the game-saving pick. Even when beat on passes he was at least close.

I liked how we contained Murray better this time, even though he still caused us problems.

Now 5 games to watch Sun-Mon and cheer for somebody!

I will say our offense absolutely was stuck in the mud in December of 2021 and Stafford had regressed from his earlier season success. Then the playoffs came and a light was turned on. I’m very confident the same thing can happen.

It's not that I think you are wrong. It's just that your timing kind-of sucks.

I think we are going to see a different Rams offense when we get to the playoffs. McVay and Stafford are doing just enough to win games right now, barely, but still winning them.

I seriously think the playbook gets opened to the back pages when playoffs start, and this Vanilla shit we are witnessing right now will be a thing of the past.
Why would you believe this? Today was essentially a playoff game and he called one of the most vanilla and conversative games I can remember. Every chance we had to win the game he choose the safest option.

Because the same thing happened in 2021. A slumping offense in December started lighting the scoreboard up once the playoffs started
