Here my take on the game:

Tackling was atrocious!!!

Not much to take from this game. A lot of guys we won't see on the 53. Karty's XP miss is not gonna ease anxiety we get with the kicking game. I just want a guy who is reliable inside 50 yards. Still not sure if he's the guy.

I agree but wonder whether it was the normal set up because that makes a huge difference. Who was snapping and holding. Was it the usual three? He’s going to get better as the season progresses but let’s hope he doesn’t underperform to begin

That was the weakest fall down on first contact for a run I have ever seen by a RB. Really bad by Scott.

If you have to pick one between Evans and Scott based on this game, I think it has to be Evans, no?

Running back is more of a young man's game, just saying

If you are happy with other punt/kick return options Scott is expendable IMO.

I wouldn't want to see Bennett out there for either of the first two regular season games. However, who could the Rams realistically add at this point that could be brought-up to speed for a two-game back-up role? That would be tough; and possibly, expensive.

No one will come in for a 2 week job unless its Loyal or Kapernick. We definitely need to cross our fingers that we come out of that 2 game stretch with no QB injuries

If Bennett for some reason had to play in game 1, or if Stafford was questionable for game 2, the Rams would surely sign somebody, and based on cuts, they might anyways.
