I wonder if the Rams and Havs would be interested in him coming back next year for a min type contract. Maybe $2M plus incentives, with the idea that he is probably a back up. It would free them up from burning a top 100 pick on a swing OT, and focusing all theur picks on guys that could contribute next year in an all in season.
So he's just gonna backup the right side?

I wasn't thinking about losing power and the internet. Lots of trees, big MFers in my area that crash in a storm, taking down power lines. The video weather updates seem to be pointing to more freezing rain, sleet after lots of snow.. Hopefully, after the game. Full tank of gas for the car radio.
Can I ask what may be a dumb question? Why don't you get a battery powered radio?

Maybe they do that and also take an OT project to develop.

Yeah, and if Jackson goes down McClendon flips to LT
I don't know that McClendon can play LT. Probably not. But maybe a small chance he can do it without it being a disaster.

Some guys are strictly RT and can't flip back and forth.

Guys that can play both often back up LT and still train at RT a little. They're basically a guy who can more athletically handle pass rushers on that side and when they switch to RT it's not as big a deal whereas a RT may be strictly a RT who can't handle the speed and agility on the LT. (None of this takes into consideration how well they can flip their technique which is it's own skill).

That's why it's most likely that Humphries as rough as he looks is the superior player at LT to McClendon.

Better to find a tackle in the draft. One that can backup at LT and cross train at RT. You just really can't do the opposite.

You get one of these. It will power your TV, laptop, fridge, whatever all night.

I remember a couple of years ago he had to pay LT and he was awful. The offense couldn't function. Actually it could have been last season when Jackson was out for a few weeks. They tried a few players in that time and they were all awful.

McClendon was a much better RT back then as well when he subbed in for hav.

Yeah I think that’s how we all got the impression McClendon wasn't very good. Man what a find for us he turned out to be though!

Can't find any to get today. Amazon's earliest is Thursday. Good idea for the future.

I've been looking at some. I need plug in and solar. Not cheap.

Comparing teams ( and yes I did look at PFF as part of my assessment) I see the following:

Offense: Rams have better OL/QB. Hawks have better RB1 (slightly) and WR1-3. Push on TEs.

Defense: Rams have better DL/Edge. Hawks have better CBs/LBs. Push on Safeties.

ST: Hawks have better Kick
Returners/Coverage. Push on FG kickers.
