HOT READS PEOPLE!!!! McVay has to have them in the game plan!!! When you have Puka & Adams with their size, you have to have hot reads for the blitz!!!

Moreover, you have KW and Corum out of the backfield along with the TEs. Naturally, the Ram OLine has to be at their best too because we know the Seahag D' can put on a rush. The Oline has allowed the Seahag D' ZERO SACKS in two games...so like Steely Dan sings...DO IT AGAIN!!!

I keep saying this also...the Ram D' is disrespected in all this all week. It's like they're not even a factor, so I'm looking for a STELLAR RAM D' to show up and show out. I believe on Monday, they're gonna talk about the Ram D" becuase they're gonna be good on Sunday.

Stafford...I'm not so worried about because he's taken care of the ball all year...and he did so quite well against the Bears on that frozen tundra.

We can guess they will probably double Puka off and on, giving different looks but then there's Adams too and the "13 personnel" look. The Ram offense needs to be like a "multi purpose tool", keeping that Seahag D' off balance!!!

The defense we'll see. I am hoping they are back to how they played earlier this season now that Lake's healthy. There is reason to think that is the case. The Seahawks need to exorcise their Rams demons the way the Rams did the Shitters in '21. But if the defense can dominate up front and force Darnold into mistakes we're very much in this thing.
One of the things the Athletic Pod mentioned was how they cooked us when we played base against their 12 personnel the 2nd game with passes to JSN. But seemed like we played base way more cause Lake was out.

Same here... calling for 12-16 and some icing. I have some back up plans listed in previous post. Worse case, go to your car and listen on Westwood One. Your local sports radio station should carry it.
Same boat. I'm going to find a way to watch, come hell or high water.

There have been a lot of situations in the NFL where the team that blew out the other team didn't play as well the next game. And the team that gets by near the end beats the team that looked dominant. I like the Rams coming in to be wary of what happened to the whiners and then outplay Seattle. Sometimes you play your best vs a tough team.
I remember 99'. The Rams hung 49 on the Vikings. Scored 11 pts the following week. Granted the Bucs D was insane, but the home team has all the pressure on them. You put the Seahawks in a position where they are fighting from behind, they will feel pressure.

Same boat. I'm going to find a way to watch, come hell or high water.
Ice storm hit mid Atlantic the day of the Rams vs Titans Super Bowl. 10 minutes into the game the electricity went off. Had to start a quick fire to keep the family warm then quickly fire up the transistor radio to listen to the rest of the game on radio. Quite interesting hearing vs seeing that game coming down to the wire with the tackle on the 2 yard line to save the game.

We are going to need all hands on deck. Byron Young being limited is concerning. The path to victory will need our d-line dominating and getting to Darnold. I am not buying it's minor or just precautionary. Season low snaps in an elimination game, with the NFC championship on the line? 0 snaps in OT? Against a dynamic QB like Caleb Williams where a strong edge is essential? If he could have been effective, he would have been in the game.... I do wonder how much of this is gamesmanship saying he is ready to go, and in reality, and Young will be used sparingly and potentially look pretty hampered :(

McVay can't have another bad game. We need an elite game plan against this elite Seattle defence. He did it last time vs. Seattle. He needs to do it again. I thought Chicago was one of his worst showing of the year, which he acknowledged post-game. We need to be able to counter blitzes and pressure, hot reads, not abandoning the run, finding a way to maximize our matchups, we need McVay now more than ever.

Secondary needs to build off their showing in Chicago and prove it wasn't just the Chicago cold limiting the Bears offense. We need our early season secondary back to have a chance. Not the NFL's worst statistically.

Stafford is a major trump card. If he plays his best we have a huge edge at QB. That alone can win a game for you. We need him now. His last few games have been iffy. Hopefully it isn't an injury to the throwing hand.

I am pumped up for Sunday!

I wasn't thinking about losing power and the internet. Lots of trees, big MFers in my area that crash in a storm, taking down power lines. The video weather updates seem to be pointing to more freezing rain, sleet after lots of snow.. Hopefully, after the game. Full tank of gas for the car radio.

Ice is the devil as well, it builds on the power lines and can take them down. Had to stock up on gasoline for the generator just in case. But if there's a lot of ice you can bet power's gonna go down.

We're getting hit Saturday morning through Sunday afternoon. Worst of it might go south of us. But either way I'm watching that game even if I gotta take backroads to the nearest town. :laugh2:

So I think all this Seattle will dominate us stuff is silly. There is no basis for thinking this way. I’m not even worried. We are far more tested. Do i think the Seahawks roll into Chitown and beat the Bears in the ice bowl? Nope. We are finally back to healthy as a team. Dotson is back, perhaps the best guard in the NFL. Lake is back to run our defense, and he’s looking better every game. All of our Tight ends are in there. We have a healthy Puka and Adams. They haven’t seen us like this. We will correct the doubters if we play up to our abilities. Our secondary is playing great. Our line can get after Darnold. The Seahawks don’t have Zach CharBoner and the weather is gonna feel like 50 or so degrees. All this “Seattle is gonna dominate” crap is just that. Stupid and uninformed. The niners were DOA in that last game.

GMF just gave their clean sweep of predicting Seattle.
Monday morning is going to be glorious watching all the crow being devoured.
I don't get it myself. In no way did I thing all of them would predict the Hawks.
We had 500 yards of offense against that vaunted defense in our freak loss. The last game was right after Puka opening his mouth about the refs and I think they taught him his lesson.
Puka is going to go crazy this game. That beast can not be shut down.

I watched this too. And it wasn’t just the picks - it was the smug way they did it. Acting like it’s already written, almost apologizing for not picking the Rams, like we’re some charity case.

They can laugh now, but the Rams are about to flip the script. Run that crap back when the scoreboard’s bleeding blue and gold.

I think the only way it gets out of hand will be if we hand them the ball. 1 turnover or less and this should go down to the wire.
