Got a spaghetti stain on my favorite jersey at the restaurant prior to the wildcard game. Haven't cleaned it yet. :laugh3:

You know Rams were pretty dinged up when they last played the Seahawks. We had Dotson out, Devante out, Lake wasn't back yet and neither was Higbee.

That's a lot of fire power, and without it, Seahawks needed a miracle 3 td's with all 2 point extra point conversions to win.

We have all seen the Rams just crush the Seahawks in Seattle time and again over the years. I don't see why it will be any different this go around.

No McCreary either. I think he has been solid. Des Johnson has been very good on run downs. He wasn't playing then as well.

The D might be getting their second wind now with most everyone healthy ( I wish Young was 100%) and new additions like McCreary & Johnson stepping up. Hamilton has also been getting more snaps and rhat helps keeping guys fresh.

I love Puka. But I cannot stand JB Long's play-by-play work. He emphasizes the wrong word or syllable every time; his inflections are all off and sounds like he spent the night before coming up with catch phrases. He doesn't call games with the foremost thought of giving the basics EVERY PLAY - like where the ball is spotted, the clock, the down and distance - all very spotty. It's embarrassing at times.

Redzone: "Hey ref #79 reporting in as eligible." :laugh2:
I sometimes watch the play-by-play feed on cbssports, which gives the "box score" of every play. Last weekend, I was surprised to see (several times) other teams reporting one of their linemen as "eligible" but they weren't targeted at all... I wasn't watching video feed of the game, so I had no idea why they'd bother to do this... but after I thought about it, didn't we get flagged recently by one of our linemen straying too far downfield? and get a TD nullified?? would reporting him as eligible eliminate that risk?
Also: if you report a lineman as eligible, couldn't that give you an advantage on passing plays? i.e. if he's "eligible", couldn't a Center go just far enough past the LOS to maybe interrupt an LB on a crossing route for a TE?

Guess they don't remember how bad we were whooping their ass in both games. If we keep the foot on the pedal it's more likely to be the other way around where we beat the shit out them. Unfortunately we're talking about the Rams. Close games, barely winning, and heart attacks go hand in hand :laugh4:

I think JB's great. Has a little Stephen Nelson in him.....

Lets get an iconic call Sunday!!!

Yeah I’m not sure these guys know who they’re playing on Sunday. They should know. They should be very familiar with their div rivals. The Rams don’t get blown out under McVay. It’s rare.

First gm that came to mind was the ‘19 debacle vs Baltimore. So I looked up the largest point/dif defeats under McVay.

34-13 SF in 2017
—-
45-6 BAL in 2019
44-21 DAL in 2019
—-
32-18 GB(div rd) in 2020
—-
31-10 SF in 2021
—-
31-10 BUF in 2022
31-14 SF in 2022
31-10 LAC in 2022
—-
43-20 DAL in 2023
—-
41-10 AZ in 2024

Not alot to see here. The anomaly that was the 5 win 2022 season had some beatdowns. McVay isn’t God. He gets beat, but rarely gets curb stomped.

Seattle’s most decisive win during the McVay era is 20-9 in the 2020 season.
11 pt victory. Flexin

Meanwhile, the Rams have wins like
42-7
28-12
30-13

There’s a lot more of this delirium being predicted on that Seagull Dot fishnet fan board of theirs.

Rams fans seem to be reading the room better than these clowns.

45-6 BAL in 2019
That beatdown, the worst of the McVay era, was by a Raven's team that was coming into their own and the third of 3 lopsided wins.

49-13 over 0-8 Bengals
41-7 over the 6-3 Texans
45-6 over the 6-4 Rams

Combined 135 to 26 (+109)

Baltimore won their last 12 games that season and at 14-2, were a juggernaut until they met the 10-7 Titans in the postseason and got whupped 28-12. That was Lamar's 2nd season and the first of 5 postseason losses.

But yeah, in the McVay era, in this rivalry, I don't see a lot of Seattle beatdowns over the Rams. In their 6 wins over McVay, the worst (and only double digit win) is 20-9 (11 pts) in 2020. I do see a few lopsided Rams wins. 42-7, 28-12 and 30-13.
