You been watching Goff and his reads? Give us your take. I see him looking one direction most of the time but he is getting time from the O line. Of course I can't see what his eyes are doing.

Actually, he's improved in that area also! On one of the third down plays to Kupp, Jared held the linebackers and safety by looking to his left, even though he was going to go to the right the whole time.

One adjustment we're going to have to make is some counters to letting them key on Kupp in third down situations. Plays where Kupp will be the decoy and we should have single coverage on the outside on Kupp.

What I really like is the Rams marrying the run and pass game. That all comes from effective play calling. Even if the run isn't effective the zone runs look like the play action passes and vice versa so you get things like Kupp wide open.

and you know what? I just realized that by design, the field is heavy to the side he is looking with receivers. So he could be looking down field and his out is the underneath guy who is also coming to the same side of the field. Could this be the play design to make things simpler/easier that everyone has been talking about? If so, brilliant, McVay. Simply brilliant.
