You guys have been pumping this thread since early yesterday. I guess several Somebodys are interested in seeing the Horns flying again - this time on offense defense, and special teams!

Burning questions abound:

  • Will the Gurley Man respond to all the negative prognostications with a classic "How do ya like me now!?!" come back performance?
  • Will Jerad display clear signs that he is ready to stride beyond using the Gurley Express! as the dominant offensive threat and strive to become the central focus of our mutating offense?
  • Will Sean begin utilizing his TEs more often to provide opposing defensive coordinators with more headaches in 2019?
  • Will Joseph Noteboom and Brian Allen be seamlessly integrated into the starting OL and match or even exceed! the effectiveness of their OL predecessors?
  • Will Johnny Hekker respond to his salary extension by flipping the field more than ever this season?
  • Will Greg the Leg secure legitimate opportunities to finally break the NFL field goal distance record?
  • Will SonOfBum's boys legitimately challenge or even overtake the NFL seasonal sack mark?
  • Will Marcus Peters tap fully into his enormous potential and fully evolve into being all he can be as an NFL CB?
  • Will Andrew Whitworth, Aqib Talib, and Eric Weddle be Super Bowl winners before they hang up their cleats for good?

.

i want to see caaaaaaam sacked 10 times. that game in 2013 made me so angry and i've hated this fucked up team ever since.

if i see caaaaaam standing on the sideline smiling and dancing i think i might put to foot through the tv. so the rams better get an early lead and pummel these losers.

SportsBook is up.

Reminder of our rules below. Also as reminder, we have a chat room for a more loosely moderated atmosphere.

———

Game Day Thread

The GDT is a live thread tradition here at ROD.

While we all get fired up watching the game, please remember our core principles; we always show respect for our team and each other.

Despite the emotional highs and lows watching a game, we will moderate this thread with that in mind, however please refrain from name calling. This applies to players, the Rams organization, and others.

This is the core rule of the GDT. Moderators are tasked to issue thread bans, at a minimum, to maintain this standard.

This is our team. Win or lose. Good days and bad.

A more loosely moderated atmosphere can be found in the chat room.

Go Rams!

I have to admit, I can't wait to see what our defense plays like. Actually more excited to see the defense on the field than the offense.

One thing's for sure...our run defense will tested early and often.

1. It keeps our high-powered offense off the field.
2. It's the weak link on our defense (until proven otherwise).
3. They have one of the better RBs in the game.

No excuse not to expect a heavy dose of #22.

That's probably what determines the outcome--will coach Henderson's DL be more effective against the run? But really it's the same on the other side of the ball: will our line be able to open holes for our backs consistently without Saffold? We're going to need both.

This will be a tough one. If they come out and hang 30 on these guys I will be super impressed. Just a tough spot with the 1pm ET start and being the home opener for the Panthers after not playing any starters for the preseason.

Also a big test against that front 7 for our two new OL starters.

Will be a very interesting game.

Panthers are going to test the middle (Jo-Day ,Gaines, Hagar) of Rams D early and often. McCaffrey is a handful.
