Game Day Thread

The GDT is a live thread tradition here at ROD.

While we all get fired up watching the game, please remember our core principles; we always show respect for our team and each other.

Despite the emotional highs and lows watching a game, we will moderate this thread with that in mind, however please refrain from name calling. This applies to players, the Rams organization, and each other.

This is the core rule of the GDT. Moderators are tasked to issue thread bans, at a minimum, to maintain this standard.

This is our team. Win or lose. Good days and bad. We are here for FUN, not to be dragged down.

This can be a statement game for the Rams. If they win they instantly become super bowl contenders. Even if the game is competitive they gain some respect. But if they lose badly... it might take the rest of the season to recover. Which can be done, but I'd much rather see them blow out Philly in Philly. Go Rams!

Fiske is reportedly active and set to play in this game, though I assume it will be situational. Our defense sorely missed him in that playoff game after he got injured. We NEED to take some shots with Tutu in this game. I suspect we also get to see some Ferguson action in this game, which the Eagles may not be totally prepped for.

One of the more nervous games of the regular season I can recall. We get a real test today and can shut these fuckers up.

What the hell is going on with our 2nd round TE He's inactive today. Is there an underlying issue with him?

McVay doesn't play rookies right away, especially on offense, and especially if that player has some responsibilities regarding protecting the QB. He will see time later this season. Need a blowout win against a lesser opponent where he gets some time.

Then we won't see him until week 7. Browns don't seem to have an issue using their rookie TE as just an offensive weapon, albeit they need to.

Assumed we were drafting him to help us win a SB this season.
