I fear Hurts' legs, especially on a sloppy field. They really need to slow the pass rush to a mush rush. Maybe have one guy stunt to threaten him for a sack, but they have to contain him in the pocket. I could see a few back breaking scrambles on 3rd and long.I respect Hurts' game. He has a knack for making the throws when he needs them. But I also think he's been rather mediocre with Saquon centering that attack. So I agree with you on this. Eagles have weapons in the pass game and Stafford would light it up with that group.
Feels like 80% of the Eagles threat on offense comes from the backfield. So I suspect we're about to see 8 man boxes and Shula aggressively run/pass blitzing the fuck out of them. Can the defensive backfield hold up? Probably not, but dying that way is undoubtedly better than dying slowly with them inching down the field. Especially early on. Get those fuckers off the field and then sustain drives on our end.
If we can build a lead then maybe be more conservative. But the problem there is Saquon can kill you with just a seam. So I do believe I would make Hurts beat us, and hope our offense puts up enough points to get the dub.
Hoping the snow prevents his sharp cuts and has him slipping and falling more often. That said, he's as talented as they come at RB so I'm not counting on any kind of snow advantage in stopping him.In the snow, Barkley could be a handful.
Our young defense will be up for this one!
Go Rams!
Their defense is so undisciplined. They are really playing right into Washington's hands.Commodes playing calm, cool and collected. Lions look like they are feeling the pressure being #1 seed. I’d love to see Coach Caveman at halftime. Any chance he pulls some ‘We Not Me’ out of his team’s asses? Oh….nice half Joseph…you dirtbag!
Just like the lions fans were celebrating the super bowl. WAS @ LAR for NFCC would be a humble experience for them.Eagles fans already celebrating that they will be hosting the NFCCG
