At some point, don’t we consider how deep this roster is and how few opportunities there are?

EVERY rookie should see the field…a lot!

If they are gonna protect Daniels then we have 3 other WRs from last year who had better be out there fighting.

No, no. This is a great opportunity for Daniels to build his confidence by going up against 2nd and 3rd string pros.

I don’t watch tv anymore. The only time I watch anything live is during football.

NFL + is $99 a year. You get every locally broadcast game or nationally broadcast game—basically the way tv used to work
But you also have redzone and live radio coverage to follow any game that is not broadcast in your area.

You also get EVERY prime time game because technically, it’s national. You don’t need those other subscriptions to get the game.
…the Rams play a lot of prime time games this year.

Best part? You get replays. Either the the whole game almost immediately, or a condensed version after a few hours. You can go back and rewatch the game in under an hour! They do include replays of significant plays but nothing in between snaps.

Those relays are the only way to fly.

I highly suggest this because now that the Rams are good, there will be few games that are not nationally broadcast. Of course I don’t know where you live.

I looked it up earlier and they are not playing.
 
McVay said Whittington and Mumpfield will not play in the preseason.

So Xavier Smith will play. McVay also spoke well of Tyler Scott. It might be Smith vs. Scott or neither if they just keep 5 WRs.

That presser is not the first time I've heard Scott mentioned as doing well. So perhaps you are correct. It may be Scott vs Xavier. FWIW, Scott is bigger than Xavier and 4 years younger.

He's playing a lot. He didn't Jump ahead of Whittington and Konata just like that. I assume the three of them will get a lot of time this preseason, along with Max Klare.

The Reno channel always glitches out and loses signal....every preseason game for the last three years.
It won't be on NFL Network until a replay.
Its really pathetic....F you KNSN.

They also dont have Dresser Wynn as a camp arm this year so they may as well limit the snaps initially

The Rams at Chiefs is showing as being played live tomorrow at 3pm on NFL Network. Looks like week 1 and 2 will both be live on NFL N and week 3 will not be.

Bennett needs reps. He hasn't played much over the past few years. The Rams have 4 QBs on the roster. Mathew Caldwell is 4th on depth as a camp arm. He has not had practice snaps reported when I looked it up. McVay has to balance QB playing time and keep them healthy. It's a guessing game at this point as to playing time. I guess that it a combination of McVay knowing Bennett needs more reps and reassure he is ready to be the backup QB.
