I would like to see just a little of CJ Daniels. A little playing time indicates he's moving up the depth chart. Too much playing time likely means he's low man or close to the bottom.
Stick to the script McVay and work these guys who wanna make the team.

My guess is that Daniels will get a lot of snaps in preseason, even if he is a lock to make the team.
He's still a rookie and a 6th round pick, probably well behind Whittington and Mumpfield and Smith for now.
Aug 15 is Saturday. I work that day, but will catch the game on replay that evening or in the morning.

From what I can tell this game and the next one will be live on NFL channel... am I reading that correct? And the third one will not be and will have to either get a temporary trial sub to NFL + or whatever the fuck it is to watch it live or wait for replay on nfl channel a few days later?

Congrats! Our 34th was back in May, and my wife knows Rams come first, although she still seems to schedule things when they play.
Puka and TA won't see playing time. That leaves a lot of reps up for graps. Reports that Daniels had a very good training camp I imagine he will get his fair share. Coaches will be looking at how he picks up the play calling and his blocking. Daniels may not have to wait long to see some regular season PT. He is older with 6 years of college football experience.
It will be interesing to see if they use 13P with the bottom half of the current TE room the only ones expected to play.
