I would like to see Anchrum playing Guard on a regular basis but he might be the best RT we have on the team, even if it’s not his best position. He’s a keeper
Yeah his development has been a really big deal for our OL. He didn't push for a spot unfortunately, but if Allen hadn't shown enough I'm thinking Anchrum would be our new RG next to Corbs at C.

Either way our higher depth looks really good this year. I'm happy with this OL whatever direction these cuts take us.

The conversation was that TuTu had performed well so far in the preseason, when we were discussing that it was still around the 1st to 2nd qtr. Mind you he didn’t do anything like he did in the 2nd half against non starters so I digress.

And the reason I have such a hard on for him his we drafted a midget that chances are will be on the injury report rather than actually drafting somebody that’s making a difference in our starting units.
Midget or not imo Atwell is a baller.

Nah. I wasn't thinking you had an agenda. I was just not seeing what you saw on those plays. Even though I agree with you that X likely won't see any snaps, him going out of bounds on that play completely removes the real option there. Still, that play was probably not going anywhere.

The stats you quoted were while the 1s and 2s were in.

But the real problem I have is that people are bagging on TuTu and seemingly casting negativity in hopes they will be proven right that the Rams should have taken a Center. So the kid is getting shit on even though he's a Ram, in the name of some twisted self satisfaction.

The guy is a Ram. Get over it. If you don't want to acknowledge anything he does right, that's fine I suppose. But twisting things to put him down? Lame.
Nothings being twisted, that is your opinion and if it defers from my opinion that’s okay, we aren’t going to agree with 100% of anything in life, not to mention our favorite football team.

Whats being twisted is that you’re vilifying someone who didn’t agree with a decision made by the origination and flat out ignoring I’ve stated in that same thread “ I hope he makes me eat my words” and hopeful good wishes regarding Atwell, why is that i

So you're pissed off about what may happen?
First of all, blame McSnead, not Tutu, and second, no guarantees your guy works out either.

Jesus. He's a Ram, is playing well, and we need him (to replicate what we had in Cooks), and btw, so far looks pretty durable.
So quit whining.

Cheers.
yeah? Goff was a Ram, and the culture vultures around here lambasted one for making an observation that he is mistake prone, a turnover machine, and we need to trade him. With non stop comments like this heaped down on me I didn’t lament, and apparently the coaches and FO seen it the same way some blind fans can’t.

I hope TuTu lights it up, I really do, but I have a feeling he will be constantly injured with his little size and he won’t have a chance to.

Midget or not imo Atwell is a baller.

Baller on a budget! Lol

Nope. It's that you dismiss any positives about TuTu while making sure to carp about the Rams not taking your guy. It's fine to think the Rams should have taken a C instead of a small WR. But the dismissive attitude toward someone who actually IS a Ram is grating to me. Hell. I wanted a center too. But it's done.

Saying you hope you're wrong about TuTu is IMO protective posturing. You can bag on him and then fall back on that statment.

In the long run, I do believe you simply want what's best for the Rams. I just can't see the want to ignore or dismiss what our "midget" is doing while harping on something because it didn't happen like you hoped. It's done.

Calling someone that’s a midget a ‘midget’ is not degrading, especially when it concerns NFL standards.

I didn’t hear one person outside of our resident Cardinal fan objecting to me calling Kyler Murray a midget. Why? Because he’s a fan of that team, the facts are that midgets don’t project well at the Pro level and are often injured and not helpful to their team to live up to their high draft statuses.

That’s ‘my’ opinion based off of experience and if i go by percentages as I bet quite often that’s what my analytical eye tells me, now as a Rams fan I do hope I’m very wrong and he avoids the injury bug and lights it up, especially against our division rivals.

Unfortunately, I don’t think the odds play in the favor of that happening for a full 17 games and playoffs, not so much because ‘my guy’ wasn’t ‘taken’. The draft is over and the choices are made, even though I wish we went a different way I don’t get paid by any NFL team, in which my opinions or thoughts are as valid and useful as any other fan on this board or any other team board for that matter and I realize that.

But just as players are concerned, it is very reassuring when you read things the right way of how you thought they would play out.

I took Metcalf & Awswhatever.Plus Mozart who got injured right out the Gate.
The guy I liked way back just like Sproles when he came out of K-STATE is Tyler Locket. I’d say that is a good NFL comparison my Old NFL Scouting eyes can vision. Weather they need to be corrected I’m not sure right now.I do know what I remember seeing & think the 2nd part of the Louisville Triplets was just signed by The Rams as a RB. Talk about quick & a hard guy to hit ?(at least in college).
I have some doubts, but the Fact Tutu is taking Punts is a good sign moving forward. What up with all the White guys at WR? Akers & Koski . Ben Sko & Copper Kupp ? Sort of weird. I hope we don’t bring up the Bennet guy from Denver The Rams are Still paying for that contract.Took The Franchise back a Few years of development.
I think The Rams Leadership with Woods & Kupp are like no other.Mcvay was asked about DeSean Jackson ? I noticed his ankle got banged up a little from my view point on Sunday Nights game. Nothing was said, but I was with neutral fans who pointed it out when he
Made a catch.
Back At CAL D. Jackson had ankle issues & throughout his career I believe?? Just know for sure at Cal & saw him at another
Point in the nFL having issues.Just wishing him an excellent 2021 season & hope it isn’t an issue.Think he brings good Leadership as well for Tutu. I like the pick because of his confidence & will power.

Lesson is, if you play a ton in the preseason for McVay, you ain't playin-- unless the guy ahead of you gets hurt.
Or maybe just maybe he was drafted unnecessary??? Just a thought.

or maybe the first month of a rookie season doesn't define a player's career. or even his rookie year.

.
Or maybe the reason he doesn’t field punts anymore and hasn’t played is because it wasnt as good of a pick as mAny have thought. Especially when others were there that could be key contributors now. Just a thought.

Just to clarify-- seems pretty clear that if the opponent is at midfield or closer, Kupp will go out to field the fair catch. But if the opponent is punting from their half of the field, and there's more of an opportunity for a decent return, Tutu will be the guy.

That’s totally true on offense.Defense is another story.usually it takes 4 games as well. This season though The Rams have there most veteran group.

Yeah even if Brian Allen became center - it would be nice to have Creed Humphrey as a back-up

We could have gotten a speedy WR in the later rounds as much as Tutu is going to help this year.

I will be surprised if Tutu is anything more than a gadget player in his career.

Whereas I think Creed is going to be a future all pro

Personally I would much rather have Ben Skow (not going to spell out his full name) and Jacob Harris play before Tutu

I think both of them will have better careers than Tutu

However, I will gladly eat crow if Tutu proves me wrong which would mean we would have an awesome offense later on this year.
