1 of Goffs picks was acceptable, hail mary to the EZ. It was the okay kind.

Another was thanks to Whitworth getting pushed into Goff as he released. The okay kind again.

He had a ton of pressure in his face and an arm to the head within a split second of the pass release... but he stared it down before releasing.
The not okay kind, as was the other.
The sack on 4th down was on him too.

But the O-line was just as bad, so was McVay.

The good news is our D does seem to be tightening up and our offense will get their shit together, or at the least respectable again.

If you think the Bears can't win in LA , you're kidding yourself. Let alone a team that can run and play D .
The last 2 weeks should be a wake up call
I don't know about that. Goff was effected by the cold in Denver. I think it affected him here. BUT... I think the bigger problem was the O-Line. He just didn't have time. In LA? I think the rush is not as dramatic. Gurley, and the O-line definitly failed by the cold.

To me ... the bigger problem was the play selection.

Put that "I want to die" status on full tilt.

What an ugly ass game. Execution was terrible.

At least the schedule is soft from here on out. Hope the Saints drop another one down the stretch, but if it needs to go through NO then so be it.

Here's what matters right now:

The Rams must win 2 out of the last 3 to secure a first round bye.
Eagles
@Cards
49ers

They SHOULD do that. They SHOULD.

But....IF the Bears win their last 3 and the Rams lose 2 out of 3?

The Rams play that first weekend.

And...could wind up back in Chicago in week 2 of the playoffs.

Bears play:

Packers
@49ers
@vikings

It's a worst case scenario.

But the Rams need to play better. Because this isn't going to cut it.

This looks like a 2001 Rams situation right now. Very talented and elite skill players than can be out physicalled in the playoffs. Dare I say “soft” not only personell but “soft” play-calling as well

About that 20 year contract....I gotta take that Cleveland call first and I'll get back to you.....

I don't care what anyone says, McVay 2 or 3 times this year has failed to use Todd Gurley enough. I mean, right from the start against the Bears he didn't use him enough. You HAVE to get the ball in Gurley's hands a lot no matter what. Pitch left. Pitch right. Off tackle left, and LOTS of screen passes. You HAVE TO. It was inexcusable tonight.

Cowherd?

I know I’m supposed to vent but the 99 Rams had a 13-3 regular season record and we can beat that. If this team is going to shit the bed best it happens before the playoffs. I am optimistic they the team AND coaches will learn from this loss.

What a fucken shit show that was. Them Bears kicked the shit out of the Rams

The Bears took AD and Gurley out of the game . Oline , Goff and McVay need to dig deep after tonights showing

Would be great if McVay learned, but well no not yet. So far anyway.

And this isn't the first bad game.........

This team is not that well coached and not at all well prepared each week.

It has fantastic play makers on offense which are masking deficiencies all around.
Your joking right? So if the Rams are not well coached how are we 11-2, both loses coming on the road to good teams.

I like ya buddy but week 14 of the regular season in pro football is way to late for coaches to have to be learning things. They're pro coaches and pro players. What should they possibly be learning in week 14? To use their star crazy awesome running back? To break the huddle with more than 9 seconds on the play clock?

Good defense and a running game can play anywhere

The Bears used a similar defensive strategy than the Packers did (constant nickel defense). If you recall the packers held us in check for nearly two quarters.. but we got it going in the 2nd half.

McVay is going to have to scheme against that strategy.

I don’t know why we saying 14-2 when those games haven’t been played yet

We better not sleep on Philly, they are the champs and in their somewhere is a good team still. More than who we play I am concerned how we play and since the break we have slowed on O and picked it up a bit on D. We could use some balance and rhythm to get back on track.
