Fun game, yes, but also a potentially important showcase for the NFL. If quality of play is indeed declining, if coaches are struggling to prepare teams due to offseason work rules, then you'd think a 31-year-old head coach and a 37-year-old head coach, both creative offensive minds with mandates to construct rosters the way they want to construct them, would be the kinds of guys to whom you'd look to make things better.
Kyle Shanahan doesn't have as much talent on his roster as Sean McVay does, but you can see the creativity and the way things might ultimately come together for either or both of these teams. Fun stuff, for sure.
