.

what about on the winning fg drive when the whiners threw the ball to samuel at midfield and ramsey was in position to tackle him then gets body checked in the back to stop his movement towards the wr. how do they not see the push in the back? so blatant.

the fucker made 8 yards on that play. ramsey would have stopped him at the line of scrimmage. the penalty would have put them back 10 yards. stupid refs.

We lost to the Niners. It’s McVay and Goff who have a mental thing with playing them because of boyhood loyalties. We are good. We don’t have to play them again this year. Let’s win out from here!

I forget the play late in the game... it was a sideline throw to Woods... he appeared to have a case for PI, had he shown a little emotion about it the ref seemed trigger ready to me.

I’d have to rewatch to confirm what I saw, but it looked like PI to me and it would have been a big call at the time.

Instead incomplete pass. I think we ended up punting this drive.
They were doing it all game and Ward is the biggest violater. Pretty sure it was ward on the play you are referring. It’s near unnoticeable in real time. When you replay it a few times you can see What they are doing.

We should teach our DBs to do it, if the Refs aren’t going to call it. Like the slant to Deboo vs Williams that beat us. NRC was real good at it. Williams needs to master this.

It works best against our type of WRs. They need timing and precise routes in this offense, so it throws everything out of rhythm.

I think McVay is in Belichick's class. And had the Browns not been fucking stupid they would have been the organization with all those Super Bowl wins.
Well, it was technically the Baltimore Ravens who fired Belichick, and given how good that team was without BB I cant imagine how good they would have been with him.
But outside of the cheating, I totally see the comparison. BB was a defensive genius who ended up with an unstoppable offense. McVay is the offensive genius who seems to be putting the pieces together of a dominating defense. Football minds. McVay is still green as far as coaching goes, and if he is this good now, I cant imagine how great he will be in 5-6 more years.

Yes and we saw the impact Belichick's structuring of things had with the Browns too, even years later. He did a lot of good things with that organization (from scouting on in terms of aligning everything) but the press and everyone shit all over him.

I think it's an excellent storyline in NFL history in terms of that town getting what they deserve. Had to hurt for many years for those media types to watch him rise elsewhere. If we run McVay out of LA we'll get to watch the same shit happen too IMO.

They had to watch the coach they shit on move on to build a dynasty with the Patriots. If I'm Modell watching all of that unfold in New England... Damn. :ROFLMAO:

Rewatched the game. One thing that is VERY apparent on replay is the Niners DB’s held our WRs all game long. It’s that same technique that the legion of boom used to run and the Cowboys ran last year. It’s basically grab real
Quick and let go before it’s noticed
And shield their body without grabbing. Fricken annoying it didn’t get called and it was going on all game at key times. It’s the cheating ways Sherman brought from Seattle. It’s so sneaking the refs don’t call it cuz it’s hard to see.

Also, I watched Noteboom exclusively. He was really solid in pass pro besides the one sack he gave up. His run blocking was serviceable. Disengaged his guy too soon a few times but also had mostly solid blocks. I would give him a B grade all around. Definitely better as a LT then guard. Two good games in a row.

Looking at the playoff seeding the Niners game was meaningless
Really. It comes down to winning 2 of 3 games against AZ and SEA.

Wildcard is almost desirable as we may draw The NFC East division champ or Seattle both which we would be heavily favored.

If we manage to win the division we are probably facing Seattle or Tampa.

People keep saying that about the NFC East, but if Washington starts to put it together, they could be a much tougher out than folks think.

They feel like the team that could emerge, I agree. (y)

I believe the 49ers games are a terrible way to measure what this team is worth. When we lost the first game I posted that we probably felt the way Seahawks fans did when their team lost again and again against Fisher coached rams teams. One time we beat them with a 3rd string quarterback, I don't even remember his name.
Now, the 49ers are certainly a better team than the Fisher Rams, at least better coached, but right now they are not as good as the Rams. Yet they manage to throw the team off its rhythm, players make mistakes, etc.
Now we have 1 games against the Seahawks and 2 against Arizona, we have a great record against both under McVay. The other two games are Pats and Jets. I think we'll be fine. Hopefully the 49ers will continue to be under average and won't make the playoffs and we're safe from our boogeyman.

Case Keenum?

.

Austin Davis, Week 7 in 2014, the Seahawks are defending champions and we beat them 28-26. The Seahawks returned to the superbowl that same year.
They let Fisher and Davis put 28 points on them, imagine how the fan base felt.

Shame on you 13. This is a Kumbaya thread. Now go find your happy place and return with some positivity. (y)

speaking of positivity where is old school. i certainly hope that some of us who can't instantly get over a loss didn't run him off.

Thing of it is? We're going to the playoffs this year. The Whiners - barring a miracle - aren't. So there's that.

i almost hope them whinny basturd make the play off so we could beat their asses and put them out of the playoffs. that would make up for some of the losses they put on us. its my fantasy and i'm sticking to it.

The Rams offense will average 30 ppg over the last five, I gaurantee it. This offense is about to explode.

I don't know if you're right about that. But I know I very much *want* you to be right about that. Because if our defense continues playing at a high level and you are right about the offense, we will win those last five.
