Yup.. that's exactly the grouping. Fun to see.Did anyone catch the personnel on the Xavier catch? Looked like it might have been a trips of Smith, Tutu and Konata??

I have a life so no I really don’t care about what practices they have in the off season I see how things are being executed on the field, I’ve been a Ram fan long enough to know the ups and downs. I am just saying we should be better.Sounds like tough buy bullshit to me.
The object is to make it through a 17 game season.. and then win several more games to become champions... having a solid health and training plan is a good thing.
Also.. Unless you're new around here, you know that the Rams make it a point to have several joint practices in preseason to get that kind of work in.. but in focused and controlled situations.
Complaining about guys not playing in preseason games simply suggests you don't actually pay attention to the Rams entire offseason.
They should do that more often in 2nd and 3rd quarters to get reps and keep Puka and Tae fresh.Yup.. that's exactly the grouping. Fun to see.
They won. Against a playoff team and a team expected to win their division this season.I have a life so no I really don’t care about what practices they have in the off season I see how things are being executed on the field, I’ve been a Ram fan long enough to know the ups and downs. Chargers beating the Chiefs? They won. Against a playoff team and a team expected to win their division this season.
You're also making a MASSIVE assumption that they would look better by playing preseason games. As we look around the league.. there's no correlation to support that.
Chiefs have none of thier starting WR at all and its basically Mr Swift and Pattie vs Chargers.Chargers beating the Chiefs?
Our Defense is really coming around. Our O'line is Glass and Hasnt had the same Group in each position in like 3 years at this point it seems. Thats where we need to focus. Fix that and 28 Avg offense points/gm from our superbowl run is back. We are not in that bad of a shape.I have a life so no I really don’t care about what practices they have in the off season I see how things are being executed on the field, I’ve been a Ram fan long enough to know the ups and downs. Rams beat Houston? See how that works?Chargers beating the Chiefs?
I'll say one thing in Young's favor... He seems to be consistently strong on the contain. The dude is aware of it and has great lateral movement on top of it. Not the greatest rusher and never will be. But I certainly appreciate his game.I have to give props to the Rams defense in this one and Byron Young had a great game also that Puka is one tough SOB. Congratulations to Stafford going over 60,000 yards passing in his career, he is one bad ass QB.
I've been bitching about McVay's preseason approach for years so I agree with much of what you're saying. But he's got a title doing that shit, and we're 1-0, so I just accept that no coach is perfect and they all have their annoying quirks. And for all the stuff I do knock him on I am well aware of how great he is. Even as I am irritated as hell that we can't seem to push for a top seed and get that playoff bye.I have a life so no I really don’t care about what practices they have in the off season I see how things are being executed on the field, I’ve been a Ram fan long enough to know the ups and downs. Two things were eye opening:
And when he interviews, he can slap his new SB ring down on the table. That should do it.BS? Shula is no retread like Spags or Fangio; he's young, he's a second-year defensive coordinator who has coaching ties (because the Shula name means as much - if not more - than the McVay name did), he commands leadership, he's already authored excellent defensive performances, etc.
You're right that just because someone is a phenomenal positional coach doesn't make them a HC...but it won't stop them from getting offers if they're good enough - which Shula clearly has been. I've said that I'm shocked he didn't get offers last year, and I'll stick to it. He will get major HC offers this year if he keeps his defense as good as they were today.
I did see that. What I did not see were targets to Atwell.Did anyone catch the personnel on the Xavier catch? Looked like it might have been a trips of Smith, Tutu and Konata??
Or a Kodiak bear pulling in a salmon.Looked like a hungry dog fighting off other dogs for a steak bone.
I think I saw one short out catch with no yac. Staff definitely wasn’t spreading the ball around, but probably because he had so little time and Texans’ coverage seemed very sticky.I did see that. What I did not see were targets to Atwell.
Curious to see snap counts.
Practice is the recipe for success. McVay has proven thatThough repetition through training is a recipe for success ie Pre season. Not talking about team vs team practices. Different variables add different stressors.
