So let me get this straight. All you need to do is opine that Simpson was the wrong pick and that makes
you the smart one. I would think that if you are so confident that the pick was a mistake, you would have an opinion as to specifically how it should have been handled. And that would include who that player is and where they would be taken. Word is that the Rams felt that Love was the only true difference maker in the draft. This may or may not be true but that leaves us wondering. You say we should have used the draft to get someone that would have helped us get to the SB THIS YEAR - not someone that would sit behind our QB. So who is that impact player? You want to wait and see who does what in the coming season? Well
that's kind of chicken shit. But even if you want to use that as some sort of litmus test, does it include whether that player would actually see the field and have the same impact with THIS team? Or is it just that they got with a team that needed them? Are we going to use Miami and their WR room? Maybe KC and their CB group? Come on man. If
@Coliseum Ram is being dumb here, give us your wisdom.
Bottom line is that if you are going to sit here and argue that Simpson was the wrong pick, one would think you have an opinion as to who was the RIGHT pick or right draft process.
