Kyrens 3 fumble season he has 260 total touches
his 5 fumble season he had 350

Henry his 5 fumble season had 320
his 6 fumble season he had 372

Gurley had 343 in his 5 fumble season
Zeke had 354, 381 and 292

You're also comparing 2 of Kryen's 3 seasons to 2 of Henry's 9. A little context counts.

Eight fumbles in 654 total touches for one every 81.75 touches and one run over 50 yards
Henry 20 fumbles in 2,529 total touches for one ever 126.45 touches and every year but his rookie year he's broken many long runs most over 70 yards. We all know Gurleys home run ability too.

Nobody is saying Kryen isn't a good back. Nobody says he's terrible because he fumbles. But his fumbles are always at the worst time and he simply doesn't have the ability to change a game with a long run.

If his fumbles come at the worst times,it must mean he is trying to do more on himself.

I couldn’t tell you what games he cost The Rams Offensive Line. What I will say is Fred Warner is great at punching a football out.I think he got at least one of those. The Defensive Teams really emphasize punching the Ball out.

Ron Gould will help to address the fumbling and the problem will be addressed as a group.U do like the way Jarquez Hunter secures the football.Kyren like to switch arms which in traffic from behind exposes the football.

All the numbers are fair. The last fumble Kyren Williams had still hurts a little,do you blame the Snow ?? IMO Kyren will continue to grow as a player & the hope is he is able to secure the football better.

The Rams Super Bowl run Cam Akers against TBay almost cost The Rams that season.

PFF- Williams ranked 32nd out of 37 running backs in pass-blocking and had the fifth-highest allowed pressure opportunity rate.
That goes to show how useless PFF stats can be
Anyone saying that Kyren's pass blocking isnt borderline elite is not watching the games
Over the last 2 years he's top 3 in TD production for RB and in 1st down runs.
I get that fans want the fancy "explosive" back, and there is no argument that he is and never will be that.
But seeing Rams fans tearing down the things he does well and amongst the best in the league just makes me shake my head

I wish that were the case, fumbling while fighting for the extra yard or reaching out for that extra bit. But it really isnt. His fumble against Philly was a lack of concentration and the ball got punched out, was a great play by the D, but he was holding the ball like a loaf of bread in the backfield and just has to be more aware than that.
I'm one of his biggest fans, but there's just no way to sugar coat his fumbles. He has to be better

I like Kyren, but when I hear top ten back I shake my head.
and I know we lost Avilla and Havenstein for significant time.
I would like nothing more than to proven wrong.

These 3 stats are not oline or pff related

He ranked 37th in missed tackles forced.

40th in yards after contact.

6 fumbles, 4 lost. including one in playoffs

Kyren is a good grinder and will find those 4 or 5 yd chunks all day,
unless Rams are playing a top run D
a excellent Goal line back,

But I don't see top ten back as some call him.

Ideally I would like to see a 3 headed monster at RB.

I am not anti-Kyren I am pro Ram if Kyren goes off this year I will rejoice.
Just wanting see more explosive running plays this year.

Whether KWill was #8, #10, #12 last year is subjective. What he clearly was last year was an effective starting NFL RB who wasn’t explosive and had a few too many fumbles. He isn’t a Barkley or Henry and never will be but until Corum/Hunter/TBD Rams RB of the future proves to be as good or better he is a very effective starting RB for the Rams. And the Rams are lucky to have him.

I am grateful to have him on the team as well
My points are not meant to speak ill of Kyren, I respect him as RB.

That being said, if Kyren doesn't correct his fumble issues
I Don't see McVay being as patient as in past with Corum having a year in NFL

No one is saying he has to be a Barkley or Henry, but we are in need
of a back that can create extra yds on his own.

When you are ranked 37th in missed tackles and 40th in yards after contact.
and averaged 4.1 yd per carry ranked 33rd a NFL explosive run rate of 1.9 percent
That ranked 44th out of 46 qualified running backs.

Either Kyren has to improve or Corum and Hunter can carry the ball
in a total committee approach and see who rises.

Because other than excellent short YD. or goal line
our running game was below average if you factor in KW
had 3rd most rush att.'s in league.

I Do Not Care if it's Elmer Fudd running the ball.
I just want a Much better running game than Kyren or Corum did last year

I hope in short yardage situations that Limmer is used, because while Shelton was our starting center before we weren’t a good short yardage team.

Rookie draft choice Jarquez Hunter provides the perfect cure for what ailed the Los Angeles Rams’ running back room in 2024

Upon inspection of both the tape and the numbers from the 2024 season, one thing that becomes apparent quite quickly is the lack of explosiveness in the Rams’ rushing attack this past season. The Rams’ single longest run from the regular season was a paltry 30 yards, and the team logged just 3 rushes of at least 20 yards.

Only five teams in the last 20 years have logged less.

Teams with fewer 20+ yard rushes than the 2024 Rams since 2005:

**************************************************************************************************************************************

I respect Kyren and What he has done for this team,
but we can not stick our head in the sand and deny our run game needs
to be a whole lot better than last years..
