all i see is godwin pushing him off with his right hand and then finishing him off with the left arm extending in the process.

opi all the way.

.
Before you saw the ref directly behind the play with a perfect view, and then you saw the defender running to Godwin, not with him, and now all you see is that... I think you might need glasses.

there's no need to post a gif of yourself.

he is obviously moving towards godwin then gets pushed off by godwin.

if you can't see that i don't know what to tell you.

Honestly man none of the things you just listed there matter.

They are justifications nothing more.

That was PI plain and simple and if the Saints get that call they more than likely win that game near the goal line since at the very least they milk that clock.

Bad calls suck and it’s a part of the game.
My point is that the entire game was poorly officiated from the very start.

Either they call them all or don’t call any. Often in the playoffs they prefer to call very little.

Last night was not a playoff game. It should have been called imo.

My eyes saw OPI when it happened.

The replays confirmed what I had already seen.

NFL officials still suck and always will. I only got to watch the last minute and 29 seconds of the game and that is all it took to realize that NFL officials are not " worth the power to blow them to Hell". I have often made the argument that robots could do a much better job of calling games, but people use the argument that then you lose the human element. Well we once again viewed how the human element can influence the outcome of these games. These guys probably will go home and jack off to a picture of Brady, that is if they can still get it up. The NFL refuses to do anything about this flawed product, nothing will change and it pisses me off.
I agree -- it was a blown call. But there was still plenty of time left and Brady would've found a way to win any way. :weary:

Are you saying this play is the right call? Human error or nah? NFL consipracy?
iu
It was a make up call for Goff being face masked and no call.

However, there was hands to the face to Donald on this play as well that wasn't called.

As I said in another thread, the receiver had his hand on the defensive player and then extended his arm.

That is a clear definition of an OPI.

If he didn't extend his arm while his hand was on the defender then it wouldn't have been OPI.

I agree, but in that situation, tough to make the call. Either way, many would have debated and although I believe it was a penalty, I can also understand the non call, plus it's Brady, who always gets the benefit of the doubt, whether he's in the north or the south.

They aren't going to call that on a back shoulder throw when the defender doesn't have his feet set and is gonna crash and burn either way. Contact didn't have an impact on the result, there was no way Lewis was going to recover to contest that ball.
I agree.
I was fine with the non call.

Watching the slow mo, it looked like he got his arms out, but didn’t really push off. The defender was all ready falling. It looked much more like a push off in real time, than slo mo.

Missing a fg and pat, is the biggest reason the cowgirls lost.

And that's what really ticks me off because I have never seen a QB get the benefit of calls on game ending drives in my life like he does

Just once I would like to see a close call in the closing minutes go against Brady - just once

And I can't blame Zuerlein for those misses.

He should have been on the pup list because he even stated before the game that he didn't feel comfortable yet kicking field goals

Just as a frame of reference....

On this play, Rudolph blatantly pushed off with his arm fully extended, but the refs chose to let it go. (The rules at the time even allowed for OPI to be overturned by review, but it held up even under review).

That should have been an OPI too

But the referees must really hate Asshole Face because he almost never gets the calls in the closing minutes.

Anytime a receiver has his hands on the defender and then extends his arms should be an OPI every time.

lets be consistent because too many times I see some players get away with it all the time and then other players it gets called on for even minimally pushing off.

It was a push off but it's hard for a ref to call that if they are fighting for position the whole time. WRs are taught to push off in ways that aren't obvious. Refs only call it if they see an obvious full arm extension. Godwin made a veteran play.

I disagree.
The last thing I want to see are defenders flopping. Which is what will happen.
I dont watch soccer or the NBA anymore because of it.
