The more I think about the refs did everything possible to help Seattle.

It probably had to do with Puka's comments unfortunately.
For people to think the Shield wouldn't retaliate for his comments is crazy. It was such a bad look for the league, plus its been a narrative for years and to have a star player saying it on a stream of that size is not good.

But bring up the unprecedented calls against the Rams, the timing of those calls, or the officials having blatantly celebratory signals on Seahawk's plays...and you'll be called a conspiracy theorist. No way those things would happen in a fair and just game.

How about take care of your own business on the field and not worry about it?

Rams were up 16. They lost the game. Bad calls happen... a collapse like that is on the Rams, not the refs.

Officials being bad and screwing us and us not closing out the game can both happen. I'm not sure why some don't want to acknowledge both can be true. And because one happened doesn't mean the other can't or won't happen and contribute to a loss.

It's analogous to a polarity paradox, the Rams can lose and the officials can suck but the Rams don't lose only because the officials suck.
They are not mutually exclusive

Bottom line. This team is too good to let games be influenced by officials. There is no team in the league that can beat us if we are on point in all three phases. We don't even have to be great in all three. Just cannot be disastrous in one of them.

The so called bullshit calls that you referenced were way beyond the rudimentary, standard type of bullshit calls that we see every Sunday, though.
They were outrageously game altering and far beyond some of the worst judgements made by the refs that I've seen in years.
Points were traded on both of the calls that changed the outcome of the game.
Other than that, pretty spot on with the rest of your points. :helmet: :clinkingbeer:
100%. When you call ineligible man downfield when that team has the ball on the 1-yd line that’s strictly an agenda based call. That ref knows the implication of that call so as far as I’m concerned that fucker was throwing a flag on that play no matter what.

Never seen officials having such a great time. They fucked us and think we are supposed to like it.
And yes, if we don't get the illegal man downfield (one the one FUCKING yard line) we win.
If they don't do the unprecedented, and not call the bass a lateral 2 minutes after the fact we win. It never should have been called like that, don't care what anyone says. It does not matter if it "barely" was backwards. 22 players gave up on the play, 2 refs put their hands up for incomplete and a whistle was blown. It was made up horseshit.
That call was a payback the refs need because the first bullshit call on the 1 yard line was not going to cost us the game.
So, they made sure they could do all they could.
And this is also why star players should not talk shit about the refs right before the most important regular season game in a long time.
No good can come from it for the team that did it, only bad. The refs are human and like paybacks like everyone else.
Yeah, yeah, stop the return TD and make the FG we win. But the refs OBVIOUSLY did all they could for us to lose that extremely important game.
