Probably a dumb question, but does the league get involved with this mess?

That QB from SC, Darnold, is big time...

I wouldn't put anything past the owners...but only if it revolves around losing money would the commish step in and fix this mess...Think of a train wreck...the other owners are laughing at Stan. He better have insurance...or he's freaked.
He looks very inaccurate every time I see him.

yeah, I'm sure Goodell was on the phone with ESK this morning:

RG: Hey Stan, what the hell are you guys doing over there?
ESK : No idea Rog, Coach Fish keeps saying he'll fix it
RG : Well I didn't allow you guys to move and stink up the joint week after week. Start the Golden boy already
ESK: Coach Fish says he aint ready
RG: My ass he aint ready, he's the #1 draft pick get him on the field. Gotta learn to walk before he learns to run. The Jets are a good place to start
ESK: OK boss

I'm not sure there's an awareness of the fact that Goodell works for the Owners.
It's not the other way around.

Goodell: "Hey, Stan, make some changes."
Kroenke: "Hey, Roger. Go get your fuckin' shinebox."

More like this;

Jerry: "Hey Stan, WTF? I didn't help you move to LA just to stink up the joint. You're making us both look like idiots!"
