It can be hard to take anything from a preseason game. Good or bad. But this is a preseason we see more expected starters and rotational guys playing.
The offense I can take with a grain of salt. A rookie quarterback without the WR1, WR2 and WR3. And without the RB1. And main vet on the line. So I won't worry about that till September and see how things go with the starters. Might be good. Might not be. I don't know.
Defense is more a concern. The secondary is looking pretty good. I'm not as concerned with that group as I was a couple weeks ago. The front 7 is the concern. They gave up runs up the middle early. And very little pressure on the quarterback.
Maybe when Donald, Copeland and Jones starts things will be better? I'm a little skeptical. Teams are gonna try and negate Donald with constant double and triple teams. I have doubts if anyone else can take advantage.
Raheem's gonna have to take chances and be more aggressive in his schemes to get pressure. Or we might be seeing our guys get toasted by the better offenses.
