The New York Giant select with its third round pick....

RB Jay Ajayi
Boise St. Mountain West

http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/profiles/jay-ajayi?id=2552582

Nice. I have a lot of time for this kid. I picked him in the Pre FA Mock because I think he can be a 3 down back. He has massive hands. Someone made a comment after I picked him, can't remember who, about him always wanting to bounce it outside, so I went and had another look at the tape. I guess I didn't see that intitially as he was pretty successful in doing so but I take the point. That's why I swapped to Duke Johnson this time round. I still think Ajayi will make a team very happy though. Good pick.

With the 13th pick in the 3rd round Tampa Bay selects: Eric Rowe, CB, Utah

This guy might just find himself going in the 2nd rd when all is said and done. I think he can play FS as well. I was hoping he would slip to me in the next rd. Really like this pick.

Legatron4 with a misunderstanding:
@Alan yiu have Marpet as a center and a guard. I think you meant matias as one of the guards.
That's on purpose. You'll see many players listed twice or even three times. A mocker might draft a player as an OLB but another mocker/web site might consider him a DE. Orchard was picked 3 times because the mocker who drafted him originally called him an OLB and another mocker tried to draft him as a DE. So it's as it should be. If I didn't explain that well enough you can ask for more clarification.

I think he will probably go in the second too because of his size and he has played Safety. Think he is better suited in zone for CB, but he is a guy you can move around some. If he was gone I would of went Ekpre Olomu, I think he has the skill set to shut down slot guys, but I do wonder about the knee and how it will effect his quickness, but he should go in this round

Like our Rams, the CB position will get interesting next year because of possible departures. They need a 3rd CB this year who can step in and start in 2016. With the 80 pick, the KC Chiefs select :

D'Joun Smith CB Florida Atlantic

CBS Sports: Speedy athlete with coordinated footwork and controlled lower body movements, using his initial burst to play sticky coverage. He is patient in press while also showing the physical nature to get in the face of receivers and make them uncomfortable coming off the line of scrimmage. Uses his hands downfield and does a great job turning and locating the ball, aggressively attacking with proper timing.

Thanks to @Memento for the advice on this pick!

Memento said:
Buffalo could definitely use a linebacker, particularly an outside linebacker. Alonso (who I think is going to be a stud with the Eagles) was dealt, so guys like Bradham and Brown can shift inside. Lawson will likely go to the outside, but they need a true pass-rushing threat for their 3-4.

With the 17th selection in the third round of The ROD NFL Mock, the Buffalo Bills select LB Hau'oli Kikaha, Washington.

I was considering this dude but the knee scared me. Major value pick if his health holds up.
