@Alan the link says Josh Shaw. Think that's what he meant.

It's Josh Shaw. He's the guy who lied about a pool rescue when he injured his ankles jumping off a balcony... Would have been a 1-2 rounder. I bet he becomes a very good pro. I was hoping he'd keep slipping down...

How did he actually hurt his ankles?

From SI:
Shaw has told the story more times in the past two weeks than he can count. Not that story, but the one he says is the real story. At the East-West Shrine Bowl last week and the Senior Bowl this week, scouts, coaches and team execs have peppered Shaw with questions. Why would Shaw jump off a balcony in Los Angeles, sprain both ankles and then concoct a story about saving his nephew from drowning in a pool 60 miles away in his hometown of Palmdale? Why would he allow USC to disseminate the lie, to hold him up as a hero, when he knew his story was bogus? Why would he rope family members into defending the lie, knowing they would be called liars as well when the truth emerged?

Shaw tried to answer those questions in a November interview with the Los Angeles Times. He said he had a loud argument with Angela Chilton, his girlfriend of almost eight years, on Aug. 23. A neighbor called the police, and Shaw said he jumped from the balcony to avoid the cops. Then, to explain his injuries to his coaches, he invented the story of the drowning nephew.

Maybe a QB comes off the board here to @Boston Ram. He got his tackle with Jake Fisher and Shane Ray on defense. Still needs a QB I would think.

I'm not crazy about the QB's even in this spot. The only one who intrigues me here would be Petty, but it still feels like a reach and I'm definitely not with the herd on Grayson.

If QB isn't on your mind, I'm excited to see where you go with this pick. I'm not a fan of Grayson either. I don't mind Petty, let him fall to the rams.

It would of been Dawson, then Rollins and Ogi but they all went lol. I won't get in the Rams way of Petty if they want him lol

I'm stunned that Duke Johnson isn't off the board by now. If not for Gurley and Gordon, he would be the best running back in this class. Better than Mason was coming out. Compared to a lesser Lesean McCoy. I see at least ten teams that could've taken him in this round alone.
"RB's? RB's? We don't need no stinking running backs...."

Thanks @Stel , @JackDRams & @SierraRam for your help on this. It's great to know that you guys are paying attention to what's going on here. I wish everyone involved was into as much as you guys and it's really appreciated by all of us.(y) I made the change and if it turns out you're wrong I'm sure the Champ will let us know and I'll claim I don't even know you guys and that you probably hacked my account.

On a side note, I don't much like any of the second tier QBs either although I like Petty better than Hundley and I like Grayson (he's the only guy I've seen play at all) the best. I wouldn't take any of them before the 4th or 5th round but that's just from what I've read about them and not from looking at any tape myself.

On a cater-cornered note, I can't wait to see who @Ramrocket picks for the Rams. :cautious:    :palm:

I have my eye on a QB, just not sure when to pull the trigger, The Titans have many many needs, and I don't think ANY of the QBs are worth an early draft pick this year - there are a few guys next year though ;)

Terrible year to need a QB that's for sure. I don't even like Mariota or Winston. It's part of the reason I liked the trade for Foles. I'm not convinced he's the answer but he's better than the alternatives. I really liked Sam but how can you trust him to stay healthy with those knees?

With the 1st pick in the 3rd round Tampa Bay selects OG Tre Jackson, FSU.

I hope at the real draft the Rams grab this guy. Tampa now provides Glennon with some help. Gurley, Long and Jackson should take a lot of the pressure of him.
