The roster currently sits at 87 out of 90, and there are still some positions that seem like they could use some shoring up at the very least. Positions like RB3/4, WR3, CB 3/4 and Inside Linebacker (looking at you, Omar Speights).

Who do you see out there as a free agent that may help? Or trade candidates? Anyone out there that still interests you?

Yes but the five drafted players do not technically count against the 90-max until they sign contracts ... unless the rule has changed.

Yeah I think it’s not out of the realm of possibility. If the Pats, and nobody else, is offering them a 1st - but Les does off it up (now that it’s not needed for a QB)….does anyone think Philly is taking a worse offer simply because it’s the Rams? That’s what bad GMs does - Howie is not.

It sure seems like a possibility now that we don't have to worry about QB. Only hiccup is I'm not sure Eagles wouldn't want to trade him to a rival conference team over the Patriots where they would have less chance of encountering him in the future. Rumor is Patriots are offering their 2028 1st rounder which sounded odd. Wonder if a 27 1st or even a 27 2nd and 28 2nd, or whatever, would entice them enough.

This is exactly my thought if there isn't a trade option. I'd also love an inside linebacker, but I'll eventually learn they just don't care about the position.

Yes, he's a massive diva. He's also in deep water as far as the law goes: charged with felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault and battery on a female chef in 2026, plus a lawsuit alleging sexual battery and conspiracy from someone else. Also has a bunch of kids from a lot of different mothers that he doesn't take care of (was sued for paternity, which was later confirmed), if you care about that (which I don't care about nearly as much...except that he isn't trying to be a part of their lives, unlike someone like Janoris Jenkins). Plus, he's had issues with a lot of respected coaches in this league and has gotten kicked off of and cut from playoff eligible teams, even when they had issues at receiver.

He's not someone I want around our young players, period.
