where did anyone read that MS was given the green light and "free to seek a trade" from the rams?

ok so on the other thread peter shraeger said that the rams gave MS's agent the ok to seek a dollar amount so

they could get a baseline for negotiations...

i'm still leaning heavily on him staying...

50 mil should be the starting line in negotiations... he's well worth that IMHO...

Voted yes. Let's get as much as we can for him and Kupp, spend the money on our younger players (Nacua, Turner, Verse, Fiske, etc.)
Then get ready for Chase Keenum 2.0.
The collective amnesia on this site, forgetting about what it was like without a franchise QB, astounds me.

No Blue Font required in extreme cases of silliness.

You may be under-estimating the inability of some ROD posters to recognize sarcasm, humor and goofiness.

The Blue Font is my contribution to ROD. It's intended to help those that struggle to appreciate my gifts.

Or, stated another way ...
The Blue Font is my contribution to ROD. It's intended to help those that struggle to appreciate my gifts.
Thief! Blue font is my creation!

It's a very interesting situation.. Like everyone else on here.. first choice would be to keep Stafford.

If they move on from him.. it tells me two things...

The Rams have a big-picture roster plan, moving forward.

Sean McVay is going to be around for quite a while. Because if there's a big picture plan involved in moving Stafford.. you gotta have Sean in charge to carry it all out. If you didn't think Sean was staying, you may go all-in with Stafford.

Stafford getting traded tells me to not take the Rams too seriously for the forseeable future.

If he just wants a $10m raise, I’d give that to him.

I’d like to see if they could add some kind of retirement clause so it doesn’t fuck our cap should be not finish out the contract.

His reported contract demands make it seem like he just wants the money. If those are true he goes to whoever pays him.
Not challenging. Just inquiring:

I have consistently heard Stafford wants more guaranteed money and that he’s in on playing at least 2 more years.
What other Stafford contract demands have been reported by a reliable source?

There are reports going around his agent asked for 3 years $210 million. As I said if true he won't be a Ram and I wouldn't blame the team.

I think the mods had the bot start a thread so the other Stafford thread wouldn't reach 200 pages :p
Lol. Admittedly I love polls but I would’ve made it a closed poll. Votes only. No posts, so we don’t wind up with just another redundant Stafford thread, with the same debates.

I voted NO btw.
