If the Bears lose to packers and whiners, it may not matter. I don't see the Rams losing more than 1 more game this season.

The sea pigeons played us tough but that doesn't mean the Rams won't beat them again next game. Take care of business, including beating the Lions and the Seattle game might not be a season make or break game.

For outside of the division:
  1. Head-to-head (if they played)

  3. Common games record (minimum 4 games)

  6. Best combined ranking (points scored + allowed, conference)
  7. Best combined ranking (points scored + allowed, league-wide)
  8. Net points in conference games
  9. Net points in all games
  10. Net touchdowns
  11. Coin toss

They are tough but they are also in a fight just to make the playoffs. Cowboys, Rams, Steelers, Vikings, Bears to end the season. They HAVE to go 3-2 to make it. And there are probably some tiebreaker scenarios where 3-2 isn’t even good enough. If they lose to Dallas on Thursday I think their goose is almost cooked.

I still consider them dangerous kind of like how some teams play up for us more than they do others. We have yet to make Goff look as messed up as Darnold in more recent games. (edited - it's tougher for me on a phone compared to my home computer)

With Detroits Oline banged up I think the Rams will have a lot more success getting to Goff.

It may have to come sooner. I'm not sure that a game where you're resting your starters gives you that kick in the ass.

Detroit's prob is their defense. For them to beat us requires a poor day by Stafford and our offense, or Detroit's offense hanging points on our defense. Could happen, sure. But not likely if we draw them. And we may end up playing that game at home as well this time around.

Rams are a different team this year. Much stronger defensively than the team Detroit's seen the past couple years. And I think Stafford smells that second Lombardi. So Detroit would probably need to knock him out of the game to beat us.

I absolutely hope not. I would love to see them just march in and through the playoffs and win out all the way through February.

I worry about the pass rush, If Hutch & co are winning their matchup, we could be forced into playing faster than we like.

Yeah it's not a given we would beat them. Just the odds in our favor.

I think the emergence of our TE group is bad for Detroit as well btw. Hutch is very twitchy but using TEs to chip him seems to work pretty well and ours are all physical and effective blocking and chipping.
