I have Peacock but this is still infuriating
I've gone from being a get off my lawn refuse to stream guy to one who probably streams 80% of the time. That said, the experience is far less enjoyable than network TV. There are always issues when streaming, there will be buffering, there will be screen freezing, no ability to channel surf. All of which is tolerable to an extent but not for a big stand alone event like a playoff game

We were concerned before that these streaming sites would be taken down if we had a permanent thread about it. I'm not sure if that is really the case anymore as pretty much everyone knows they exist. But that is why there is generally a new stream site thread every week. But yeah - that would be a @CGI_Ram decision.
If we were to make a dedicated thread, it would probably be best to post it in the Members Only section.

I'm posting the following info because I'm totally over the NFL money grabs and want to help out the average viewer. Fuck peacock, amazon, paramount and the NFL for making it almost impossible to watch games without having to shell out money for a subscription.

For any of you that have a Fire Stick do yourself a favor and download a program called Kodi, after you install Kodi to your firestick, go and download an addon called "The Crew" you can live stream games, etc and it's pretty reliable.

Apologies to the mods if this is against any rules

Here are some links

Coolness, let me know. The sites change due to copyright infringement stuff and BS some of them get and they get paid to put BS on there sometimes so updating every 2-6 months is pretty common. Interested what CGI has to say about it.

I've always wanted to do this just haven't had the time but going to but me a firestick and download when I get back from CO next week just to gain the knowledge and mess with it.

Any other cool apps out there you know of that goes with Kodi?

This app lets you watch movies and shows as well. However, most of the free links for movies and shows aren't that great, you can get a service called real debrid and attach it to your Crew app but it's like $18 for 6 months. I use it and it's great but for reliable service you have to pay a little $$$.

Still beats paying for 10+ apps @$12-$15 a month. I've actually cut Netflix, amazon, peacock, Hulu, Apple+, and Disney+ because of this app. Saves me a ton a money.

I have to illegal stream the majority of Rams games spread. No going to get worked up for potentially having to do it for a playoff game too.

Ugh. That is horrible. I'm already very unhappy with the Prime Thursday games. Some of us work later and can't tune into live games. I've DVR'd that game for years and watched it once I'm off work, now I have to wait for the re run at 9:15 on NFL network, which, half the time they start out by talking about the finished game and results. Which, as you might guess, is a hell of a spoiler.

I DVR the prime tnf games and start about halfway through. Prime has a dvr feature, you just have to activate it for tnf.

I feel like paying for the NFL package should get me every damn there is. It is expensive enough.

If the NFL was smart they'd create a bunch of shitty stream sites that are even worse. Just torture the shit out of us until we give in and pay their bullshit.

But I think at some point they're going to realize how much money they're leaving on the table by overcharging the product. There is undoubtedly a bell curve at work with the pricing, where there's an optimum price that would net them the most subscribed customers. I doubt they're in the middle of that right now. Probably moreso at that far right edge, somewhere in that dropoff.

That would require youtube and the other sites that pay the NFL to share revenue and expenses which I doubt we'll ever see. That or the NFL would have to charge them less to do this which is even less likely. The owners and players like our money too much which they're getting a lot ofu.

Strangely, Prime says recording is activated, however, I cannot find ANY way to watch it other then live. No matter where I look on Prime. I've watched how-to videos online and the options they say to do, I do not have. Perhaps its only able to watch DVR'd when your on a computer?

Just go to the "Sports" section and scroll down until you see "Prime — Thursday Night Football — replays and highlights" and click on the game you want to see.

Peacock is a pretty good streamer.

It has some pretty new movies, actually some good original shows, plus for me the whole WWE library + live PLES.

So doesn't bother me. Besides I much rather have streamers than pay $60 - $80 + tax for a hulu or something. Why pay that much for a bunch of shit and reruns I'll never watch just for a couple games?

If the NFL cared about fan access they would have their own service showing every game instead of selling rights off to a third party reseller. They don’t give a fuck about fans, the money they get from other sources puts us far down in the priority list.

One more gripe -

The way multiview works with the NFL package on you tube sucks ass. Why are there are a limited number of combinations for a split screen feature?

Let me pick my combo
